Good, am glad. Keep him at it; as I told the parents of a young lady I signed up recently, their support is invaluable. Somehow, it's easier for them to drum up trade for you as they don't actually benefit directly.
It's also something you can 'share' in a small way so hopefully helps your relationship.
Keep up the good work! :T

* Following on from my earlier post - sorry this is probably old info to SLs but I was only told about it last week and thought it might be worth posting up here for anyone thinking about becoming a (Personal) Avon rep too.....
If you like the idea of being an Avon rep but don't want to 'walk the streets' then, as we all know we can just do 'Friends and Family'. Previously, I'd assumed that meant that you still had to achieve MOV (£78) and HOV (£148) to make it worthwhile. WRONG!
The first two campaigns do need a bit of help from the SL i.e. to achieve at least MOV to cover the set up costs, but after then reps can just order from Hello Tomorrow at Demo prices (cheaper than customer prices less commission) plus they get access to Clearance products too. No need to buy loads of books: Avon will supply one at 55p, which can be passed round immediate F&F in the two week period and, of course, they can order products two campaigns ahead, free delivery/returns, no minimum order value and if they do manage to hit M/HOV they get freebies too as well as commission on any orders from the customer book. Win/Win!! :T (SLs get their teams to grow by letting customers look after themselves! :rotfl:)
PS: Per our PM's, Libby, glad you're sorted with some extra books - make them count!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Whoever appointed you will know. Came as news to me as well - I was never told. Generally it will be at least £200 nett but more often around the £300 mark i.e. £280/400 worth of customer orders, which is usually adequate for most people's first orders. If by any chance your orders exceed your credit limit then Avon will contact you to ease your first order through. Don't worry; enjoy!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi Ladies,
There's a couple of good threads on the Health & Beauty Board about Avon lotus shield, other products & customer feedback in general. Makes interesting reading. Do hope the links work.

Good Morning.
I wonder if anyone can help, I have completed my first campaign and I have recieved a return today. Is it best to do this online or use returns book or do I have to do both?
Thanks Rachie0 -

Best to do online; provided you have a printer, it will convert the info you input into two forms (one goes in the box, the other is signed by the delivery driver by way of a receipt for you). On the other hand, if you don't have a printer then you can use the returns book.
Go to 'Place My Order' and then the drop down box 'Credit'. Your invoice will be listed, you can either search through your invoice or input either the item no. or description in the boxes underneath. The system will then bring up all the items you've ordered that match your search criteria. Fill in the required details i.e. how many returning and the reason code (they're all listed for your ref) and then 'Update'. The system saves any credits for returns so, like your order, wait until the last minute before submitting - makes it easier as the system will total up all your returns to save you the job. Deduct the value of your returns from your Account Balance and just pay the nett amount when due.
Hope that helps.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
