I don't always make a lot from my avon and currently nothing from my team,

Is it worth all the effort you clearly put into promoting it and helping others then ?

No you only get charged for a single brochure if you place an order,
but don't order brochures. If you don't place an order, you won't get charged anything.

Strange situation so am a 'newbie' again... :rotfl: Have just signed a new lady up, who despite getting over £200 worth of orders in her first campaign doesn't have the time to continue. Will she still be charged the second £7.50 set up fee?

Probably not, bill, but being ladies we do it anyway (it's in our genes!)

I've been in the same position for the last 5 campaigns (and I thought I'd lined 5 newbies up to sign before I even considered going SL). Was then given a bit of a target to hit, which spurred me on so finally qualified recently (and turns out that I might actually be quite good at being a SL.... Time will tell, of course.) Still earned diddly squat from it but doesn't stop me getting a buzz out of helping others build their own business.

Well done, Amara; know it may sound silly but it's great to get that little buzz when you pick up an order, eh?

I said I don't always make a lot of money or from my team. There have been times I have made money from my territory and money from my team.

Am currently going through a hard time but that is the same with any business.

Yes, it is worth the effort I put into promoting and helping others. Just because I don't always make a lot of money, doesn't mean others are not more successful than me because of their locations, decent ASMs, decent allocation of territory, etc, etc.

Every business has it's pros and cons and it is upto the individual to make their own decision on whether they choose to go ahead or not.

nope. The admin charges are only generated when orders are submitted. So if they only place one order, they only get charged £7.50 once.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

    Hiya,
Im reasonably new to avon, on my 3rd campaign. On my last one a customer didnt pay for the items that she had ordered. I went to her house, she told me to come back the next day and she wasnt in, left a calling card and I have heard nothing from her. I went through the steps of requesting credit's but its not showing as pending. Should it be? also do I send them back with the driver next week when he delivers my order.
Thanks for any help you can give. Becky :)
