Last Tuesday when I went in one of the ladies told me she had had a reaction to the Glycerine in the hand cream. I have been scouring the website since trying to work out which hand creams have glycerine in them but cant find ingredients for products anywhere! Do they exist on the website? Alternatively, can somebody just tell me which hand creams dont have glycerine please?!

This one has silicone and beeswax

    this one has rice oil

Suziebean - there only seem to be 2 hand creams which mention glycerine, which I assume means that the others don't. The glycerine ones are 11767 Rich Moisture, and 08102 Revitalising.

Unless she has some sort of serious allergy to glycerine, I would suggest that she buys one of the others to try as she has 90 days from the order date to return it if it's not suitable.

    Hi all!!

I had my signup tonight. I am so excited to get started! Been given a 100+ flat territory. I'm doing a little note to go on the front of catalogues, saying the main special offers and the products I recommend. I also want to do an introductory offer. I am thinking either orders over £10 get entered into a draw for something I buy off clearance, e.g. gift worth £15 plus, or find the sticker and get a free gift, something small e.g. £4 value, and put stickers in about 5 catalogues. What do you think is best?

    Thank you!!

    Hi Libby

I always find that a prize draw attracts the orders, but why not make it EVERY order entered into the draw as the small orders all add up and help your total. You will still only give one prize.

Why not make the prize 'a bag of Avon goodies worth at least £15' or something similar since that will tie you down less (don't forget to estimate the value according to the normal selling price, not the clearance price) - you can order the cheapest bits & pieces you can find from the clearance (remember that they will have given the book back by the time they receive their prize, so they won't realise what a cheapskate you are :D)

You'll get a discount on clearance items from the little brochure, but not from HT. For instance the C12 clearance book has Dry Body Brush set at £4 (which will only cost you £3 if you achieve HOV) you could add a couple of other little bits, & perhaps a voucher for £5 to spend in the next brochure (on which you'll also get a discount, of course). Be ready though to check the stock situation before your order goes in (you'll get stock indicators online a day or two before), just in case the items you have chosen are sold out and you need to order something else. Don't remove the first item from your order though, as it counts towards your sales figures for Presidents Club ;)

    Phone Lines

Due to strike action and unrest in Mumbai, many of our call agents are unable to get to work. Therefore, you may experience longer than normal waiting times on our phone lines today. We do apologise and are doing all we can to ensure calls are answered as soon as possible

Aw bless 'em - sounds like a right nightmare over in Mumbai. I know we moan and groan when buses are late but I bet any disruption over there is absolute chaos. Can't begin to imagine it really!!

clarebear74 - don't give up, just ask your asm or sl (sorry can't remember) to confirm that the street is definitely yours and then continue to canvas it. Anybody who says they already have a rep, thank them for letting you know and ask if they would mind being canvassed every 3 months or so just in case they lose their rep. Then make the appropriate note in your call book and carry on.

I had this with one of my new streets, someone rang me after I'd dropped the book and said that there was already a rep on that street. I forgot to flag it with my ASM but when I went back to pick the books up I'd got an order, so I have assumed that the rep doesn't cover the whole street or else I wouldn't have got an order. It can happen that the street has been reallocated and the old rep has just kept a few houses on a customers.

I thanked the lady who rang me and asked her to leave the book outside her front door and I'd pick it up on my way back, but I think she flung it out of her front door as it was quite a way down the drive!! Perhaps she was trying to save me a walk but if she'd thrown it a bit harder it would probably have ended up in the middle of the road!

Playing Santa tonight, then picking up books tomorrow. Got to do a HUGE drop tomorrow night as well to finish canvassing my new area for this campaign.

No orders yet for lotus shield but I've been singing its praises and giving samples out like sweets!!
