It's probably been mentioned but Samples are half price in Campaign 13 (HT 15) which is a really good way of boosting sales with customers (the old try before you buy)

Speaking of HT 15 - the Red Morgan bag is going to be HUGE (physically and with sales too)
There is generally lots in there - plenty of stuff to demo or get your hands on before Campaign 15 (back to school edition) which means for a great September for Sales - which means more money into the piggy bank for Christmas spends.

Brill, not got that far ahead yet - been thinking they hadn't done samples on offer for a while, so will be able to stock up!

But no samples for the Herve Lerger fragrance out in C15. No samples for the new Patrick Dempsey II aftershave or the Musk Leather.

Comon Avon, get your act together. Really poor show. After a big push with the Fergie, I expected this to go well too. Not so good if they cant even try it first.

I have noticed that every few campaigns Avon don't stock certain items, then bring them back say 2 campaigns later, at a reduced price or a special offer. This must be their marketing ploy. Make the customers want it and then have to buy when available!

Last Tuesday when I went in one of the ladies told me she had had a reaction to the Glycerine in the hand cream. I have been scouring the website since trying to work out which hand creams have glycerine in them but cant find ingredients for products anywhere! Do they exist on the website? Alternatively, can somebody just tell me which hand creams dont have glycerine please?!
    !

I had a look at the handcream I have, and although it is the silicone one, there is glycerine in it too.

It may have been a bad batch this customer had. Request a replacement, send it back with an email and ask the customer to try the new one. Maybe order one of the other ones and see if she has the same reaction. If she doesn't, it was a dodgy batch.

Then she told me that she had once brought an Avon product that was a moisturising oil with salt crystals in it. After speaking to an agent at the customer service centre, she decided that it must be the dead sea minerals firming body mask. I dont think it is though as that seems to be more of a cream than an oil. Any ideas people?!

    Thanks in advance![/QUOTE]

Right, don't think Avon do a product with salt crystals but here are two suggestions, your customer might like to try:

in C12, mineral gems glamorous gold gelled body oil - 12831 only £3, this contains trace elements of gold for smooth, lustrous skin, which is the same effect as the salt crystals.

in c12, mineral gems luminous pearls body lotion- 17079 only £2.70, know it is is not an oil but it is enriched with trace elements of pearls for naturally radiant skin.

Remember to tell her about the avon 90 day money back guarantee. If she is not happy, she can just return for a refund.

May also have something to do with the item needing to be on sale at a higher price for a certain number of days before they can call it a 'sale' item?

  • Hi everyone, just after a little help. Just looking ahead to summer hols and have decided that camp 13 will be a non starter, as I am away most of the camp and so are a lot of my customers. Just about to place order for camp 11 and not sure what to do about camp 13 brochures. Presumably if I don't order any brochures then I won't receive my HT15, which I would like. If I order my camp 14 brochures now would that solve the problem?
