If its been added onto your regular order then itll be fine.

However, if its been done by a separate, additional order, then you would need to hit mov/hov on that to get a discount unfortuately.

Depends if they've managed to do it right or not. Sounds like it might not be an additional order though with them saying that.....if log in to your account, then go to my orders, then track my order, you can see what orders/returns you've submitted there. You can also view your invoice which will give you the best idea of what's going on, but it can take a couple of days for the invoice to actually show something, so don't worry if its a blank screen at the moment.

Hmm, you might be ok then. When your invoice is up that will give you the best idea. I'd say its been added on but not 100% positive on that.

  • Hello

I have just joined up as an Avon representative (last Thursday) and was given 40 brochures to get me started, I delivered these on Friday and went round today to collect them, got 26 back and after putting new forms in took them out again this afternoon. I have knocked on the doors of people who did not put the other 14 brochures out and have been told by a few people that there is already someone covering my area which has left me feeling a bit peeved!!

I was told by my Area Manager that the village I live in would be mine and that no one else was covering it but it seems that is not the case, I have left a message on the Area Managers voicemail and am just waiting for him to call me back, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about this kind of thing (I do have her phone number from a brochure someone left on their step but I would rather not get into an argument with someone over this). Sorry to rant on but I was really enthusiastic about this up to about an hour ago. :(

Your best speaking to the rep as she may only do a few houses. When i did my first road i was told someone did that road allready. I spoke to the women and she only does 4 houses not the whole road! Have picked up loads of customers there now. Hope you can sort it out.

  • Thank you for that, I will leave it a day or two for me to calm down and if I havent heard from my Area Manager I will give her a call, as you said she may only do a few houses.

    Hi clarebear

as suzy just said, it is possible the rep has a few friends and family on that road. Or it maybe she used to do that road, and gave up but held on to her original customers as friends and family.

Don't be disheartened, just keep going. by the way, MarsdenCuckoo and lozza1985 have a few good tips on how to keep customers, ie offering incentives and they are getting a reputation amongst potential customers for offering incentives making them the nicer reps to buy from.;)

    Don't give up hun.

Ireally thought i had it all sorted and now im all worried:(

It's not packed that quickly! They are just reading from a script so have to say that.

If you find it has been logged as an additional order, email avon explaining what has happened, and they might be nice enough to waive the £2.50 fee and add it to your original order. They did it for me once, but couldn't ask again.

    Old Grey Fox and Mel197a.

can we please agree to disagree? Let's keep this forum the nice happy place it is without scaring of the newbies.

OGF, Mel didn't mean her post to sound like she was touting for new sign ups, because she wasn't. She meant in a friendly non touting way that if the OP told us all what area they lived in, generic area, ie Manchester, that maybe an SL from Manchester might post some friendly, helpful advice about self assessment and tax credits, particularly where the courses held by the Inland Revenue in Manchester are held or a facebook link to other avon reps who might be able to give advice on tax credits, etc.

Happy, happy, joy joy people :D

Hi everyone! I havent posted for ages as after the first time I posted I forgot my password! Doh! Sorted now and Im back in!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I sell Avon to a couple of ladies who work at a local childrens play centre and me and my sons visit every Tuesday. Last Tuesday when I went in one of the ladies told me she had had a reaction to the Glycerine in the hand cream. I have been scouring the website since trying to work out which hand creams have glycerine in them but cant find ingredients for products anywhere! Do they exist on the website? Alternatively, can somebody just tell me which hand creams dont have glycerine please?!

Then she told me that she had once brought an Avon product that was a moisturising oil with salt crystals in it. After speaking to an agent at the customer service centre, she decided that it must be the dead sea minerals firming body mask. I dont think it is though as that seems to be more of a cream than an oil. Any ideas people?!

    Thanks in advance!
