I think I might have to give this a go - I'm going to read through all the old posts to make sure I understand what I have to do.

I have enjoyed reading all the posts and it certainly seems like hard work, but fun.

    Thank you.:)

Hi all, had a busy day today collecting orders and brochures in for my 1st campaign. Pretty miffed as only 15/35 left them outside for me (some soggy and torn). I don't think I made it clear enough so I have made some special "sorry I missed you" cards requesting them to leave outside for me. Let me know if anyone wants them emailing?

Got the next distribution ready complete with welcome notes, plastic bag and sticker on the front saying...

    COLLECTING MONDAY AFTER 3PM!
    ORDERS? I WILL KNOCK
    NO ORDER? PLEASE LEAVE OUTSIDE
NO AVON? PLEASE TICK BOX (box)

Great news though - on £125 already and just half way round!:j
But god I am exhausted - 32 weeks preggers and mailing for 2 hours is tough.

    A few questions:
I'm going to be back ordering from C13 when putting my C14 orders through. Will I get these products at the C13 price?
Is the Avon website/ordering section always crashing when you "search" an item? It's taken me ages to input but I found it easier if I saved every customers order before typing in the next few items.
Finally - should I put "2" if two seperate customers have ordered cuticle balm? or just input the 2nd item on a new line?

    Phew

Would it be handy to have a list of the reps on here and where they are from incase anyone needs one then they can look

But it would be against site rules to do so.;)

Out of interest whats the turnover rate for Avon reps ? Is it high like other similar opportunities?

never give over your products without payment first. If they say give them to me, I will pay you later, politely say you will come back when they have the money.

I found that the easiest way to explain it away without giving offence is to say that you are a bit scatterbrained and would get totally confused if some people had paid and others not ;)

RE Recycling, make sure you take your name and address off the boxes before putting in the recycling bins, same goes for books , make sure it does no have a name and contact number or any leaflets because you can get fined as its classed as trade waste

I have been refused at the tip when i tried to take Avon books to the recycling centre

i had an idea for birthdays and christmas's. if a customer orders 10 pounds of products or more as a present i will gift wrap them in a pretty box for free. its probably been said before but theres 77 pages now and its difficult to catch up when your new.

  • I need to get a new powder foundation and I am thinking about getting an Avon one. I usually get pressed powder, but I am tempted to try the mineral one. Has anyone had any experience with using it? I have very pale skin so I am hoping the lightest shade will be okay.[/QUOTE]

Hiya, i have been using the minerals foundation in nude and am really loving th cover it gives, i would say im really pale, but as its summer i thought i would give the next one up (iyswim) a go, and its looking good! may need to go down in the winter tho!!!!
