Wow loubylou1979 you are good at this!!

I've not looked at the brochures you are referring to yet to see the offer but I get the jist of what you are doing. I'm not sure why but I've just not clicked with this creative ordering thing/incentive thing yet but I need to so I make some more commission. I am a few campaigns in now so you'd of thought I'd have the hang of it!! :rotfl:

Does anyone have a template of the newsletter you send out to customers? If you wouldnt mind could you send it to staceyd88@sky.com
I just don't know where to start!! Thankyou :D

Hi Stacey-Im sending you one for c14-do let me know what you think of it!

• Typed out my top 20 star buys for a c14 newsletter. Anyone who wants it do pm me with an email address. One person I visited today had again not looked through the book-mum hid it and the girls missed out so Im going to email the girls the offers each campaign and send them online links and the book as well! I will get them one way or another!
Well I picked up books from my new road in the rain this morning and somehow or other with work my order is now around £300 so its going to be good after all. Not without the additional territory though. Ordered an extra 10 books for c16 and will continue with that until all of new territory done-have to work a bit harder on foot next time though-wasnt quite disciplined enough-I feel I could have squeezed in another drop of about 15 books. Having to dry out some of them-the Avon bags are not good-too short and have holes in them! Better off with the ones I bought. Done some creative ordering on one order to get a free lippy and get the growpotion a customer wants by buying the makeup the coustomer wants from c12. So-2 freebies! Saw the online brochure on the customer has not available stamped across the page for the £1 handwash. I use the online brochure for reference when all of my books are out!

I know...who's fantastic idea was it to put hole punches through the bags??? The first set I got from Avon were perfect. No holes. Then the new sets I got have all got holes punched in them. I am assuming it is to ensure there is no condensation gathering or something along those lines but it also allows the rain/wet floor in!!! Haven't had this issue yet but I am sure I will when the autumn/winter sets in. Anyone got any remedies for this? Maybe we should mass email Avon to complain :rotfl:

For the mascara question - my mum wondered which would be best for her as she has very sensitive skin / eyes, asked about on this & other sites..and in theory all the mascaras should be fine, but Perfectwear is probably the best - thats what I suggested to my mum and she's been fine with it.

Arrgg Avon are really annoying me recently!! I was trying to get a credit for the remaining lotus shields i have from the money maker (i ordered 10), when i went to do the credit it showed i bought 10 for £7!!! my cost 70p customer price 30p!!! I emailed asking how much was i going to be credited should i apply for it, and have now got an email saying theyve applied a credit to my account for all 10 lotus shield!! I never said i was going to return them all!!!

Also just logged onto my avon account and apparently have a new ASM!

For incentives - don't pick anything that will leave you too out of pocket - but it is a good way to "set yourself apart" from other reps - I've gained customers from my territory, who used to order from their mums rep etc, who started to order from me as they realised they would get a better deal! Plus, as A mentioned, if say you give them a free product - its a good way of getting them to try something different, that they may go on to buy in the future, increasing their order value in future campaigns. IE if you have customers that only ever order make-up...give them a hand cream / shower gel / hand wash etc to get them to try the toiletries...customers who only buy toiletries...give them a cheap bit of make-up (or at least samples of them). Its just getting customers to try something different - a lot of people will only ever look at the section they will order from (make-up etc) and ignore the rest of the brochure. Folding the pages so that a tab sticks out from the top is a good way to get people looking more closely at the brochure - takes a bit of time, but doesn't cost anything.

Hi all

I have just started doing Avon again after a long break :). So, far I have got 0 orders :(. I am on Campaign 14 at the moment and have given out some brochures to a few houses (about 20 houses) where I live and left a couple at work, but sadly no takers. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I had even put an incentive saying if you spend £20 you get a free gift!!. Am I in the wrong area and no-one has any money to spend at the moment or what :(.

Also, my Area Sales Manager ordered a Summer Sales Package to make up my 1st order to £70, which I cannot afford to pay back to Avon. The products she ordered looked quite good and would probably use some of them myself. Not sure if I can return them and get credit for them, as I don't think I am likely to sell all of it.

Not sure where to go from here and looking for some advice. Do I still continue or give up........ :(. What else can I try, as I used to love doing Avon and did quite well in the past.

Many Thanks
