Have bought a couple of things after making an emergency dash for batteries to Poundland of all places :rotfl: A Maybelline dream mousse eyecolour and Revlon Bare It All, which I always liked, and it was rude not to at £1! All the summer perfumes are calling to me right now - really wanted two of the benefit ones, but stayed strong :o

I don't post a lot, but Iget the email and I'm here reading every day. I just wanted to say that I find this thread really informative about all the different product ranges and brands. Although you do make me want the things you're talking about. ;) Thank you ladies. :T:A

Whatever you do, don't do the waxing after a drink  Ask me how I know :o:cool:

I thought it would be a good idea to wax my own bikini line, I'm whacking it on and ripping away merrily.. could hardly walk the next morning :D

It sounds like an ace way to spend an evening - what's better than free, new stuff? :j

I must admit, it did occur to me that the idea of mixing hot wax, with giggly girls and far too much wine might be a tad unwise!

I've had wax related bikini line injuries before. I feel a bit nauseous at the memory. It's great fun trying to think of something to say when you ring in sick and your boss asks what's wrong with you!:o:D

Ohh I'm moving to fairly near you then, was down there this weekend annoying my petboy and having an interview today. Horribly hot wasn't it! Although I was quite annoyed driving home when I reached Warrington and it started to rain again. :(

It's always a lot warmer and less rainy down here than in Warrington I should imagine, but yeah berrrrrlimey it's been baking here lately.

I remember when I lived in Preston for a while. When driving back up from visiting friends and family here we always knew when we'd passed the North South divide when we hit the inevitable rain. :D

Welcome to the sunny south my lovely!

I have a confession. I went into Boots today because I wanted to get some pore strips and some other blemish stuff for my husband and found myself standing by the clearance shelf. They had two lots of Sanctuary illuminating moisture lotion reduced down to £6.49 each, so of course I picked them up. I did pick them up and put them down a few times but still walked to the till with them. When she put them through she asked if there were anymore on the shelf as they were 342 and I said no so we looked at the other Sanctuary stuff and she picked up a small size moisture lotion which I ended up getting for free.

I'm not usually one for stockpiling face creams so does this mean I've moved off of showers gels and onto face creams now :o

Lines for you Madam...."I must not stockpile face creams" ;)

I'm going to turn the laptop off at 10pm, and shower, body butter and facemask before bed. Should set me up for a good nights sleep. I've not been sleeping well partly because OH has taken to reading until past midnight, partly because of the hot weather, and partly (OK, mainly) because I'm having a stressful and incredibly busy time at work. Hopefully I'm now starting to get the stress under control - I hope so as I know I'm just getting more and more run down at the moment - my skin has broken out horribly and I just feel permanently tired! :(

A UU to report: John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Natural Balancing Shampoo WIBA? Yes, I love the JF range. I'm going to start on a massive bottle of Tresemme for Brunettes shampoo next which I have used before and like. Because it's so large though I won't be able to use it on a "use it everyday until it's gone" basis because I'll get fed up and so I'll use it for a few weeks and then put it away and have a change.
