I was so tired this afternoon that I went to bed at 4.20 and made DH cook tea when he got home. DS was sitting on the sofa nodding and DD was so quiet in her bedroom (tidying and dancing and stuff like you do at 8 yrs old!) that I thought she'd fallen asleep. I'm looking forward to a nice pampering bath this evening and shaving my legs pits and bits. They're getting a bit unruly. DH making jam now and I'm not working in the morning so I get to stay here and listen to the lids sucking in.

    Evening ladies!

    A few UU's to report:

An Avon Hand Cream finally bit the dust. It's the one in the gold and red tube that they do at christmas, and smells wonderful. WIBA? - yes, certainly would, I love the Avon handcreams and always get on well with them. I have taken the final one out of the cupboard but it will be a while before I need to replace.
a Pearl Drops toothpolish also finished up - this was an "ice mint gel" one and was a bargain in the 99p shop. WIBA? - I would if I saw them in the 99p shop again! Can't justify paying £3 odd for a toothpaste though I'm afraid. On to a Poundland Arm & Hammer whitening one now. That's the last in the stash though so will stock up next time I'm in town.
Finally, a Boots botanics eye makeup remover - some of you might remember I am a bit hard to please with EMR - the benchmark is Clinique's Take The Day Off and everything has those dizzy heights toi scale...! The botanics one was good - I have to admit to being surprised and impressed how good actually! WIBA? yes - I would. Good value for money, and effective. I have a L'oreal one ready to go next......again that's the last one though.

There is space becoming available in the bathroom cabinet girls!

EssexHebridean - I would use the Boots Botanics Eye Make Up Remover again too - I think it's great :)

Used Up a Cowshed Shower Gel tonight (the free one from Marie Claire) WIBA? Nope. I don't personally like the smell and wouldn't be tempted.

Another UU this morning - feels like they're happening quite fast now. Avon's Colortrend Eye Pencil in Copper. WIBA? No. I found the product was really difficult to apply and required quite a bit of pressure to my eyelid in order to get the colour on. I've now moved on to a No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in 10 Brown (a GWP from a while back).

Just reporting in after the first use of the very cheap Sainsburys Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner - they cost 39p and 50p each I think.
Very impressed - nice soft manageable hair - not at all like the cheap Tesco and Boots versions I have tried before. I'll carry on with it and see if I remain impressed. But, at the moment, worth the 89p!

Finished a Palmolive aquarium this morning. Like this, often buy it. July seems to have been a good month for use ups - lots of finished products, though still plenty left :o

 Right...Confession time for me.:o

After trying them at the Swap Fest I bought a couple of absolutely gorgeous SpaRitual nail colours. (Mystic and Hypnotic.) They're probably not colours I will wear much for a few weeks but once the autumn season starts I will live in them. I've got to stop getting sucked into OPI and Nails Inc on QVC and stick to the "fewer nasties in them" brands like Zoya, Nubar and SpaRitual.

I've really tried to feel guilty about my latest purchase but just I'm too excited! :D:j :o:p

    Now... UU's

I've finished up all of the 5ml Sophyto Bioactive toners, and Sophyto Purifying active masks that I had so that's good (I've WIBAd them twice already I think!)

I've also used the last of my Dermalogica Hydro Active Mineral Salts 28g sachets so I shall have to buy some more of that before long. It's my favourite! (also WIBAd before)

UU Shiseido Daily Bronze 150ml WIBA? Yes I definitely will, probably before I finish the other one I have in The Stash. I absolutely LOVE this! I am quite pale and I find sunbathing V dull so I generally stay quite pale!

In the summer so that I don't look like a ghost next to normal coloured folk :o:D I slap this on all my bits that stick out of clothes, (arms, legs, face, neck, chest, hands, feet) a couple of times a week. It's subtle and buildable and I never get any patchiness. It's just like a really great body lotion which warms my skin up a few notches. It's a nice brown shade too - orange and yellow toned tanners really don't suit me.

UU Alpha H Rejuvenating Cream WIBA? Yes definitely. I Like to keep a mini in my bag for handcream and those times when my cuticles suddenly go dry and ragged or my palms feel uncomfortably dry. I also use in on my feet and hands overnight quite a lot. I'll miss this if I don't buy some more soon. (Even though I have another two foot creams on the go... :o)

I love this challenge :j - even though I am still spending (a little :D) I am consciously avoiding QVC and consciously organising myself to use things up instead of having 6 similar things open.

It will be a bit harder for me next month when most of my minis wil be gone.
Hope it's going well for you guys as well. xxx
