. I'm the same with nail varnish. I buy them thinking they look pretty, but then I keep my nails really short as I do a lot of typing and whenever I put nail polish on it feels unnatural and heavy. Catch 22!

I'm the same as you - I don't like coloured nail varnish on my hand nails but maybe you could use the nail varnish on your toe nails so that they look pretty in sandals?

Tonight I've used a No 7 Ultimate Nail Cuticle Softener on my toe nails and hand nails. I'd recommend this as something to look out for when the No 7 vouchers are next out. It looks like a marker pen: it has a nib and you use the shaped cap to push the cuticles back. I've also soaked my feet, using a bath fizzer to fragrance the bowl of water. I've sorted out a Virgin Vie Goddess varnish which I'd describe as a metallic burnt orange shade. I've put it in the fridge and I'll apply it in the morning. I think this will be one of the bottles I take on holiday with me as it's very small.

This month, I am going to use up the following:

Dermalogica Cleaning Skin Wash - WBA - No. Too expensive and did not clear up skin.
Dermalogica Clarifying Matte moisteriser - WBA - No, too expensive and not very mattyfying.
Vinotherapy creme (used on neck) - WBA - No. Nice smell & texture, but got it in Italy.
No.7 - Advanced Hydration Night and Day moisterisers - WBA - No. Got it for my face last year (as advised by No 7 skin care adviser!) and far too greasy. Will use it on my neck
Matis Whitening Serum - WBA - No. Got it in Italy. Not seen it here. Not very good either.

    Stashed Away to Use Next:

L'Oreal Pure Zone Facial Cleaner, Toner, Moisteriser. Read good reviews, hope they work. Not too pricey.
Paula's Choice - Normalising Cleanser, Blemish Toner, Neutrogena Oil Free Moisteriser - These have been recommended by the "Cosmetics Cop" website.

List of stuff to get through:
I have a big stash of firming body creams/gels/ to get through. Everytime there's a special offer, I grab them.
Firming creams that I use the most and WBA are: Soap & Glory's Sit Tight and Firminator, L'Oreals' Sculpt-is. With these, my skin feels smoother and firmer.
The others that I need to use up, but only WBA if they were on special offer are:
    Nivea Q10 Firming Lotion
Neal's Yard Grapefruit and Juniper Firming Gel
    Jergen's Natural Skin Firming
    Normandie - Be Firm Lotion
    Liz Earle Naturally Active
    King OF Shaves Firming Moisteriser
No. 7 _ Perfect & Protect body cream
    Estee Lauder - Firm Creme.

I Can't believe that I have got 11 Firming body Lotions to use up!

Tonight I have done PYNM! They are a hot pink colour by the colour workshop. No more UUs I'm afraid. I shall keep on with the stash. I was surprised to find out that there is another toothpaste (new) in the cupboard. DH has bought it. It's Euthymol and he let the kids use it tonight! Halfway through brushing her teeth, DD appeared (dribbling) complaining that her mouth had gone numb!

ETA: Trudij, bottled up the elderflower champagne today- 33 bottles of it! Mmmmm, yummy!

A few of you have mentions Jason products. I'd never heard of them before. Where do you get them from, please?

 I buy mine on eBay and from here:

    http://www.biggreensmile.com/products/jason-natural-body-wash/jbwash.aspx?productid=jbwash

I stood In Tesco for an hour one day reading shower gel bottles and thinking "I can't keep putting all this crap on my body every day!" -and now I only buy from brands like Jason and A'kin who avoid ingredients with question marks over their toxicity.

Some UUs from me (all tiddlers though)

UU Sophyto Silkening Cleanser 5ml WIBA? It's a fine cleanser. It has a lovely texture, it's gentle and fairly effective - but not my favourite so I probably wouldn't buy it again unless it was absolutely bargainous. It also leaves skin soft and moistuised which some people would see as a benefit and others as a residue that means that their skin isn't clean.

UU Sophyto Purifying active mask 5 ml WIBA? Hmmm. Maybe. It has a cooling, calming, refreshing feel on the skin which is lovely in hot weather and I think it does the job - but to be honest, I'm using so many different things at the moment so who knows what's doing what?! It's very runny which is a bit unusual for a mask. It feels more like an extra cleansing step really.

UU Mir Skin Refresher 10ml WIBA? Oh Yes Indeedy. This is one of the three toners in existence that I bother with. I actually feel as if it does something positive for my skin and I enjoy using it. (Luckily I have a 200ml in my stash!)

UU Margaret Dabbs Nail Serum WIBA? probably not. I prefer oils on my nails. This has a kind of siliconey texture that I'm not all that fond of, and I'm not convinced that it did anything positive for my nails at all.

Can't sleep so I'm all set up to do a PYNT with my new OPI kit. Have you seens that Corin on Big Brother? She does PYNMTWTFS&S!:rotfl:

Another UU or two - I am on a flippin roll today! :rotfl:

UU Dermalogica Hydro Active Mineral Salts 28g sachet WIBA? Yes Please! I adore this stuff. I prefer the sachets otherwise I use too much. Hubby rips the mickey out of me and my " old lady bath salts" but I love this after a workout, and in hot weather. It's a bit blimmin' pricey though.

UU Leighton Denny Creme De La Creme WIBA? Probably. This is a mini I got free at a QVC customer event about 3 years ago, and it's been my "Go To" quick and easy paint job when I was pushed for time all that time. I don't love it as a colour but it's reliable and safe. One of my Nails Inc nudes may take over now though.

I did a bright pink from the Nails Inc Boots / Diet Coke promotion (New York) on my toes, and Creme De La Creme on my fingers. The OPI bottles in the Try Me are V. V tiny and I couldn't be bothered to fiddle and faff at 4 in the morning! Honestly - dolly sized!:D

UU Urban Decay Skyscraper mascara WIBA? Dunno. You can get amazing length with this - it builds and builds until it's scraping the back of your sunglasses but the lashes look spindly not lush and application is a bit of a chore. It's glossy and remains flexible and not crunchy. It's properly black, but I still prefer my Definicils to anything else I've ever used.

Had a UU this morning: Simple Gentle Care Conditioner. WIBA? No There's nothing wrong with it as such, although it's a little boring. I've decided I prefer to have a conditioner for colour treated hair, a conditioner that does something more than just condition!

I've been sorting out sachets of moisturiser to take on hols and will use up the ones I'm not taking in the meantime. Yesterday and today I've been using an Estee Lauder Perfectionist with Poly-Collagen Peptides. WIBA? Yes, it's lush. It feels like it leaves you with a layer of lovely soft new skin.

Two sachets of the Avon frizz-free leave in stuff arrived yesterday so they've gone into my box of sachets.

Morning! I love reading all the use ups, and the product reviews.

One UU for me to report. S&G Clean Mary Cleanser. WIBA?Probably not. Not too keen on the smell, and I prefer a thicker cleanser like Liz Earle. I've now opened a No 7 Hot Cloth Cleanser to try, so hopefully that will be good as it only costs £3.75 of bought when the £5 No 7 tillspits are running!
