OOh Good tip Roshydoshy. I've got a couple of places I could check out. ( in the dim and distant future when I need to buy some of course! ;):D)

I will store that little nugget away for future reference as well my lovely. I've never even heard of Tesco Nutricentres!

Thanks to Roshydoshy and Pootle_3 for the information on Jason stockists. This is really useful. I'm all curious now as to what a Tesco Nutricentre is!

We have one at our local Tesco Extra, they pretty much just sell nutrition stuff, so sports nutrition, health foods (nuts, seeds etc), supplements and natural products of all types inc skin care.

Oooh, what is the YSL one? I love the Clarins beauty flash balm - it does wonders for me when I have to drag myself into work with a hangover...!

3-4 hours?! Does she actually have a face underneath it all?! That's scary. Although adopting her approach might help me use up my make up stash a little (lot!!) quicker... I might have to investigate :p
YSL is top secrest flash radiance skincare brush, costs £35 in stores but a lot cheaper online(can't remember if I saw it on half price perfumes or cheap smells(both through quidco so even better :)

Just a quickie tolet you know that there's a 50p off Dove deodorant voucher available on the Discount Board (not sure how to do a link, sorry!)
We all need deodorant so 50p off will help us spend less I suppose??!!

Used up another shower gel today, and I have another one which will be finished in my next shower, but I did have to buy 2 jars of face cream today (day and night) which I had run out of.

  • Hi all, had quite a few pages to catch up with the new July thread. Welcome to all who have re-joined, and to all newbies too. Thanks as always to everyone who has posted product reviews - I love reading them! :T

I was very strong at the weekend and resisted the half-price perfume bargains in Boots. So very nearly bought A Scent by Issey Miyake, but then reminded myself of all the perfumes I have in my stash, and the fact that bargains will still be around in the future! I had got as far as getting my Boots mailing coupons out to try to work out which size to buy, what coupons to use to get most points etc, before giving myself a stern talking to and putting the perfume down!! Can I get a "well done" for being so good?! :j

I have a few UUs over the past few days too:

Virgin Vie Wide Awake Eye Gel - WIBA? Yes, it was very cooling and refreshing. Good for mornings and a fairly good price. This was the old style, which was just the gel, not the tube with gel at one end and the cream at the other, so not particularly effective with reducing dark circles but I've never found a product to beat Benefit Eye Con tbh.

Dove Pro-Age Shampoo - WIBA? Yes probably if on offer, to alternate with shampoo for coloured hair. I had just a tiny amount to use up in a bottle left from last summer I think. Just a couple of washes and it was gone, but it did leave my hair soft and healthy feeling.

Avon Conditioner for Coloured Hair - WIBA? Yes, good value and my hair quite likes this range. Again, just a little bit left in the bottom of the bottle, so nice to finish up and another bottle in recycling! yay!

Another travel size tube of Boots Mediterranean Body Lotion - Grape, Olive & Nectarine - WIBA? Yes, but don't think they do it any more. Nice, light and fruity - goes well with fruity smelling shower gels etc!

Body Shop Mango Hand Wash - this one was a lovely gift. WIBA? Probably not, as it is fairly expensive, but I enjoyed using it - the fragrance was great and it was very gentle and moisturising.

Still making my way through the travel size stuff, and also hoping to make up a little care package for someone I know who is going through a tough time at the moment to cheer her up. So, so far more items going out than coming in. I also think it will be a good idea to total up at the end of the month, and make sure outgoings are more than incomings!

Oh gawd, another long post - sorry everyone!
Bye for now love from Candice x

Evening, everyone. I've got a UU today, happily, and a swap :D I've used up a trial size sample of Boots No.7 Protect & Perfect Advanced which was part of a free gift set. I ordinarily wouldn't use it as I would buy the normal version (I'm in my early 30s) so I wouldn't buy again. My swap is a tub of foot soak that I'm never going to get chance to use, but that my Mum would really benefit from. So, I'll swap her the tub of foot soak for a shower gel to keep at hers for when I shower there. :)

It feels good to think I'm going to get through my toiletries. :D It's almost a secondary thing that my skin will be a lot better! I'm hoping to paint my toenails tomorrow night as I don't think I'll have chance tonight - I'm falling asleep as it is! I think I'll start with something funky like blue or something. :)

    Have a lovely evening, everyone!

 Morning lovelies! I have formed a definite strategy of targeting things I know are the oldest, on their last legs and all my small sample sizes so I'm hoping it will be UU agogo for me this month.

    And on that note:

UU Mir Skin Silk Lotion 20ml WIBA? I'm going to need to soon - yeah. I really rely on this. I alternate it with the Mir Argan Oil at night and it keeps my skin really well moisturised. supple, soft ,and slightly cool to the touch. It makes my combination / sensitive / rosacea skin feel fresh, calm and hydrated - but never clogged or overloaded. I've got some REN samples to use up first though, so I'll try to hang on. I can't believe how long this teeny tiny pot has lasted me!

UU Bare Escentuals Nude Beach WIBA? Definitely! Some days I'm just not in the mood and I think BE glimmers are heinously sparkly, and sometimes they are exactly what I want - but either way I can't argue with the value for money!:T I bought this on eBay in 2002 or 2003 and I've given about a dozen friends little sample scoops out of it along the way - and it's still taken me 8 years to finish it up! The pot has been - to all intents and purposes - empty for about 2 months at least but I've got about another 8 applications out of it by running the brush around the lid and sides of the pot. Some days it's just so easy to do a wash of this over the mobile lid and be done. I think BE's bigger particles can look smoother on ageing eyelids than pressed eyeshadows too.

Having gone through everything again last night I reckon I can finish up another :j20 :j things this month. I've got so many things on their last squeeze before cutting them in half, and so many minis and samples. That's my target anyway.

Have a nice day lovely peeps. :D
