EON website very slow?

Have tried several times to log in and check my account pages today and although it will eventually load the page I am interested in it is taking forever.
Perhaps there is a lot of traffic at the moment due to impending rises etc but it should still be running faster than this.
It doesn't bode well if a company that provides some online only energy plans can't provide a fast and efficient webpage :mad:July 2018 - Now Mortgage Free0 -
Sorry to sound like a broken record WellTravelled. Believe me, we share your frustrations.
I've been told this morning that we will be installing some new servers on the website tomorrow. This is to speed up the website and address the problems people have been experiencing.
I'm in the office tomorrow so will see what happens and advise further then.

Just because you're on a tariff that requires you to manage your account online it doesn't mean you can't phone up and speak to someone. The only difference is that you don't get sent a paper copy of your bill through the post.0 -
I have just spent what seems like hours trying to check my account and if I'm on the best tariff.
My time costs me money, so maybe I'm best NOT to change tariff but supplier.
Use a comparison website to check your tariff as it will compare it against all the other suppliers as well.0 -

Hi all
Just a quick update as promised.
The new servers I advised about yesterday were installed at 6am this morning.
So far, our website seems a lot better. We are monitoring the situation to see if the improvements are as expected.

Tried logging on yesterday evening as got email from eon wanting my readings. No joy so gave up. Tried again this morning. No problems.0

Once again the eon site is showing problems, speed is snail like, despite new servers 6 months ago. Hard to manage your online-only account when the offer from the provider is so slow. Hard to believe, also, it's so difficult to run a quicker site. Time to look elsewhere.0
