Stop paying two mobile phone contracts and end up with CCJ's? Great "advice".
Stop being pedantic, thats not what i said.
Unless the OP says they are on a non cancellable contract how can we know. I'm McKneff, not mystic meg.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

It's harder for a person in London to accept the difficulty of job hunting in Huddersfied.
I agree there, a lot of contractors come down here as there is no work up north, and a lot of the time they are willing to take lower pay ( well it has been known )
(oh just a quick message to Deepmistrust as the other thread was closed.... my son is 19, 6ft tall, and i dont class it as 'child abuse' if he gets a slap round the back of the head for being cockygod... you really read into things the wrong way dont you lol)

The trouble is that when you're surrounded by jobs, it's hard to believe there are none elsewhere. Sometimes the limit of the advice on these boards in these cases is a joke, often telling people to "move" or "have abortions" or "sell your gear to a pawnbroker".
Other times there is really good information to learn from. I'm sure the OP's are wise enough to spot the difference.
And, it's the internet. We're not in a pub having a larf. If we were, it's quite likely your 'jokes' would be taken as 'jokes'. As opposed to child protection issues, when you admit to slapping your kids on the head;)All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -

Deepmistrust wrote: »I've never disputed Ebay as constructive advice.
I did however, assuming you have the power of reading, state that pawnbrokers is not constructive advice.
I think most people recognise, that whilst the desperate do use them, they are extortiante if you want your gear back, and if you 'sell' your gear you get only a fraction of their worth, and serve only to add to a persons misery.
Well done for the Ebay advice, give yourself a pat now.
Whether you think it's constructive is irrelevant.
Of course if I ever run out of 'constructive ideas' I could always take a leaf out of your book and just state the blatant obvious whilst adding nothing to the thread.Deepmistrust wrote: »Sadly it looks like your loans are the problem .

Clearly she didn't realise that, or she wouldn't be on here looking for advice.
Let's face it, most people have stated it's her loans (and phones) causing her problems.
Of course you stand out with your uber-constructive advice to drag her stereo to the pawnbrokers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
