    Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Wednesday’s update finally finished - loooaaaadddsss of NSDs today - well done everyone - and Herby has reached her target already - yay!!!!!:j:j:j

Special mention for Nargle and franby64 for no 1 - up and running now ladies, that’s brilliant :j(franby, I’m assuming you are a lady, if not, I apologise...)

Haven’t put the “prizes” on the front page yet, will do that tonight, Herby hope you don’t mind waiting until then..

    Target achieved:
:jHerby: well done for no 7, you’re doing brilliantly this month, and fingers crossed for no 8 today.
Glad the challenge is helping you, that’s good to know.
Love the “parking DH” ideas - might try them next time my OH decides he wants to come with me..
Update: well done on no 8, you’ve done brilliantly, really determined effort there, target no 1 smashed...:j:j
Will extend your target to 12, good luck with that
Great news about DH and his degree, that’s fantastic, not surprised you’re proud of him:T

    Well done to:
:jmicron: yay.. no3, well done, even though you think you haven’t had a good start, you still get a cheer.
Oh dear to the birthday presents, I’m the same really but have had to rein myself in over the past 18 months.
Ouch to your ankle, that sounds really painful, hope it heals quickly
:jskaps: well done done for no 3, you’re doing great, keep going
:jjintyb: well done for no 3, and fingers crossed for no 4 today
Good for you for decorating while your folks are away, that’s lovely
Update: and well done for no 4 and for being strict with your OH, can’t have him ruining your NSDs
:jfranby64: yay, up and running now, that’s brilliant. Hopefully now you’ve got no 1 in the bag you’re NSD head will come back. Fingers crossed for tomorrow and Friday for you

Great news about the car as well
:jthrifty fifty: well done for no 2 - you’re doing brilliantly...
(don’t worry about Herby’s total, she starts earlier than the rest of us and is making a determined effort now as she’s on hols later on, you’ll catch her up, don’t worry!

:jMrsinvisible: well done for no 4, you really are on a roll, that’s brilliant. Love the spending without spending, that’s ideal
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 2, that’s brilliant (love your name by the way, my BF (best friend, that is) at school was called Venetia...
niddy = never-in-doubt, one of the more regular and helpful posters on here, Unenforcability thread is his main area although he can also be found on the NTN thread and most other places as well (he’s been trolled a lot recently and is, I think, leaving the forum hence all the chat about him)
:jNottoobadyet: well done for no 2, but oh dear to overeating a lunchtime and feeling icky (overeating is fine, but feeling icky is not so good!!!). Being sensible is good as well, I love home-made lasagne
:jdmb: well done for no 2 (popular number today). You’re doing great, keep going
:jAngyles: well done for no 3 - and especially well done for resisting chips, once that craving gets hold that’s usually it with chips....

Update: and you got there, brilliant!!
:jcw18: well done for no 6, you really are on a roll this month, and 6 in a row is fantastic!!
If someone stole your energy yesterday, I would hate to think what you’re like with it fully intact.... how do you get so much done in a day, do you ever sleep?
:jFirewalker: well done for nos 2 and 3 - you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!
:jifwishes..: yay.. well done for no 3, not surprised you’re pleased, you’re doing brilliantly. You’re right, this challenge really does change the way you think about shopping..

Glad work wasn’t as bad as expected, hope that continues for a while at least.
Love the being organised.... and good luck with the continuing saga of the bindweed, you’ll get there eventually and think how good you’ll feel when the last bit has gone
:j3Dogs: well done for no 3 - that’s brilliant - and I love your sneaky NSD tactic, might have to try that one myself

    And hello to everyone else:

QUOTE=elfen;34515261]jinty, there's a man creche in the shopping centre near me...[/QUOTE]

Thankfully I dont need it as my OH loathes food shopping and I dont mind it! Just thought it was a great idea, although my OH commented that there are plenty of "man creches" they're called pubs!:rotfl:

Good morning everyone - hope you are all well today!
First of all - well done to Mr Herby - what a clever boy he is - no wonder you are proud of him!:T
Meant to also congratulate Karen on your recipe publication, what a thrill!:T

BDINI - maybe we can all get stuck in to helping with your house when we're all there for the back passage party! Glad you got your heating sorted - keep going, you're doing really well!:)

Today will not be a NSD for me, food shopping today, my cupboards are like Mother Hubbard's! Im also going to the chiropodist to get my hoofs serviced. I cannot wait as they're killing me. He is a very nice man, not only do you get all your feet sorted, he puts polish on so its a bit like a pedicure too - all for £20 so I think that's reasonable.:D
Sandals here I come( the shoes not the resort, sadly!)

Have a great day all - will be popping in later:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

    Morning everyone :hello:

Spent a bit too much last night when I was out with a friend  so a bit annoyed with myself - though I did have a really good time so it's not all bad! I still have money left for the rest of my money week (my changeover day for withdrawing my weekly money is next Tuesday) but I don't have a lot left that's for sure! BUT I am going to take it as an opportunity to get closer to my darling pony that I am seriously coveting this month!! So today I am going to try for my second NSD....naturally I will update you, whether you want me to or not!! :rotfl:Everyone else is doing so well, so that is double inspiration!

    Jo :)

Off out to do my planned spending very shortly - but in the meantime I may have just saved myself an NSD later in the month :D

Window cleaner arrived this morning, and I've already paid for this one in advance. Grabbed my purse, found I had enough change, and shot out to 'pay for the next one while I have the money on me' ;) Unless they're 6 days late with the next one, there was no way it was going to fall on a D/Debit today - so could well have ruined an NSD as I never know to the exact day when they're coming (normally a 3 day window depending on their holidays/the weather), so I couldn't have easily planned grocery shopping to fit with it either!!

I normally pay the first time he comes in a month for the whole month (so either 2 or 3 cleans). It does get me the odd (small) discount - like last time. The last one I'd previously paid for they'd only done the front (boss was away, and forgot to leave the key for my gate with the others), so I was '£2.20 in credit'. Aimed to pay for the next 2, which was £8.40, so less £2.20 he wanted £6.20. I only had a £10 note, so he said that rather than dig for change (doesn't carry much as they clean, as a chap comes for payment either that night or the next) he'd hang on to the £3.80 as payment for a third (which should have been £4.20)

Been out for shop, and only picked up what was on my list :T

Now need to pack for night away, shower and change, throw some stuff of DDs into car (stuff she left here when she moved out just over 5 years ago!), and think about heading up their end for sports day !!! Want to be on road by 11:45 at the latest, so it's gonna be tight as some of DDs stuff still needs boxing up.......

Love it 3 dogs, think it could very shortly become me & the boiler man, after i asked him about when the pipes would go in so i could rebuild the final bit of the wall & he told me he thought it was better he did it & "not to worry my pretty little head" about it!!!:mad:

:mad::mad::mad::mad: to bl00dy patronising builders, BDINI, they drive me mad too.......

Owwwww  no more stones up my back passage please, it's never been the subject of this much discussion before :rotfl: :rotfl:

Didn't think it could have been, at least it's making you chuckle at a very trying time:):)

Name the day, i'll clean up a bit so there's plenty of room for you all to crash & to park the tardis!! :D I'm about more often than not so i'll be ready & waiting (apart from 17th & 23rd when i'm a bit busy :p)

ooooh, thanks, will get a date sorted out then :A

Aww thanks for the sympathy Spoon, you're amazing & always seem to know just the right thing to say :A
Have to admit i feel really spoilt moaning cos i know i'm really lucky to be able to have the heating sorted, but i am shattered with doing every night as soon as i get back from work & i am sooooo sick of the mess, everything seems to be coated in a film of dust that the dust fairy replaces every night no matter how much i clean it!!!! Still will be worth it & you'll all have unlimited hot water available when you invade my back alley :rotfl:

((hugs)) and you're not behaving like a spoilt moaning cow at all, you have every right to be p1ssed off with the whole situation, it's bound to get you down. It'll be well worth it when it's all finished, try and stay positive but if you need a rant or a moan, carry on, we'll all listen and sympathise
    xx

Sorry to report that today is not a NSD, after the row over the wall i treated myself to a bottle of wine to try & chill out with & had some ebay bits to post. As i don't count bus fare as a spend tomorrow will be as i'm finally going for my interview for the voluntary work i applied for months ago & i'm determined to go straight there & straight home again... really excited about it now!! :j

Sorry for the novel guys!!! x

Think you deserved a bottle of wine yesterday, tbh, hope you enjoyed it and good luck for today, keeping my fingers crossed
