Not a NSD for me I'm afraid, batteries and paracetamol so at least it was a cheap day!! Tomorrow won't be a NSD either as the cupboards are looking a little bare so I finish July on 7 which is below target but better than last month.
Please could you sign me up for 10 again in August Spoon. I promise myself and everyone on this forum to reach my target!!!
Congratulations to all who reached their targets.Total Debt May 10 = £580920 -
Nargleblast wrote: »So, Buck Hice tomorrow - how many puddy tats do you think we will cram in the Tardis? I will bring the smoked salmon and champers, plus a bucket of cat litter.
If we stuff Big Mumma's mega-sized lilo on the top floor ( away from puddy tat claws ) we will be able to nip off (or should that be orf?) to Brighton in the afternoon for a paddle. Now, did anyone remember to put the Tardis on charge after the last outing?
Lots of puddy tats, Nargle, loads of room in the tardis. I'm bringing cucumber sandwiches and Pimm's, and might manage some trifle as well - all sorted I think. Brighton in the afternoon would be good and we might even be able to manage an evening flight somewhere as well.
Tardis fully repaired and charged up - raring to go again:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hello NSDErs
I have a slight problem at the mo, talking DH into agreeing to shop online for the big monthly groceries . I did manage to get away with it till recently. He's all funny about it, infact he does not LIKE to shop online at all, Reason: not given me any valid one except that he does not like having substitutes:(, and he likes to pick his own fruit from the supermarket.
Any ideas what i can do to make him agree with me on this one - (for me to win basically)? shopping's due on the 1st or 2nd of August
How about compromising by allocating some of your grocery budget to DH and letting him buy the fruit?.Then do the bulk of your shop online as normal.Just reading the end of this thread - sorry to hear that your kitty is under the weather, they are a worry aren't they. I used to be part of a cat forum (before it was taken down by Cat World) Dicky tummies was a common afflication to some of the mogs on the board. I did notice that someone else suggested plain cooked chicken is also good to settle a kits tum, and also plain rice is another option. A change of diet can often be the culprit, esp if they have been used to one particular food for a while. Has he suddenly changed from a dry to wet (or vice versa) diet?
Prior to going to the vet, he was on bog standard Whiskas dry food, which he had been on for years with no probs. The vet said that he had put on 10% of his body weight in a year and changed him to Hills Science diet for Neutered Males and told me to cut back on the grub. I feel between being ill and changing his food its been too much for him actually! He coped ok with the fish - no sickness thankfully!
Good morning to everyone!
Congrats Jo on your Debt free status - wonderful news!:T
Karen - hope your MIL is ok and on the mend soon:)
Not sure what Im up to today, feel like taking it easy after all the running about this week. New month tomorrow - new challenge!
Thanks again Spoon for all your hard work - you're a star!:A
Have a lovely day everyone!
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Well I have missed my target miserably for July as today will not be a NSD (it is our 2nd wedding anniversary!) so I am going to go for 11 again in August and hope for the best there.
Well done to everyone who managed it!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I got a prize!!!!!!!! :j Thank you Spoon and thank you so much to everyone for all the congrats, not to mention all the NSD encouragement over the last month or two - it has definitely helped me get debt free because it was with all the extra money I had saved this month through my NSDs that meant I had the extra to pay off my Cap 1 card entirely from "last month's" money. Not sure if that makes sense anywhere other than in my head!
I was wondering *looks at ground and scuffs foot* could I come along today on the outing? I've never been to Bucks House or Brighton, or on BigMumma's lilo....I've put kitten mittens on Delilah's paws and everything so she won't scratch it....I promise we'll be good. I've made Pimms to add to Spoon's, Florentines and my homemade KFC and just in case there's time for BDINI's back passage I have packed my Primarni Uggers AND I put my fake tan on last night....purdy purlease can I come?
I will await your decision with everything crossed, even my eyes which is making my tea quite tricky to drink.....
On other news....
JintyB - how's Kitty Jinty? Any better?
Spoon - :j:T re: your NSDs!! You're leading by example!!
Karen - that's awful about your MiL, I am sure you and OH are really worriedI hope you get some more news today.
Okay, off to try and drink this cup of tea with these %$^£ crossed eyes....*scampers off to fashion a bib out of hubby's best work shirt
