Thanks TMVen!! I am very excited! I didn't used to be too keen on cats, but recently I find I like them lots more. I think it's because we have some friends who have lovely moggies - I must have met some not so nice ones when I was little and they put me off! :p

    Hi there - back again!

Solved the curtain issue - I filled a basin with a dose of cheap bio powder and a scoop of Vanish and sponged the affected area of the curtains. Luckily the stain was just on the lining and its come out ok - sigh of relief! Couldnt face having to take them down and get them dry-cleaned. In my experience I've had curtains shrink after drycleaning so I dont really trust it!

Handed the sample into the vet, he'll phone me back later with the result. The nurse quickly tested it and there are no crystals which is great cos they cause blockages - very nasty for puss. I just want to speak to the vet re the sickness. He changed his food on Tues to Hills Diet for Neutered Males - I feel the food is the culprit, but what do I know - Im not a vet!:(
I got puss a nice wee fish so I'll poach it in water and give him a little later. I feel his poor wee tum needs a break. Honestly, I'm worried sick!
Thanks for being so understanding everyone - it means a lot:A

I'm very well, Spoony - today is my DEBT FREE DAY!!!!!!!! :j

Re: kitties and milk - aaaah, that sort of makes sense. Do you have a cat, Spoon? There seem to be lots of cat owners on here...and not just of the dancing variety :)

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done Jo !!!!!!!!! champagne all round today then :D:D

Had a cat, PTS last year, he had a lot of tummy problems (amongst others) that's how I found out about the milk - my lovely vet told me. Yep, lots of cat lovers on here. You don't ever own a cat, they choose to live with you - unlike dogs:D

Off for some lunch, back later to catch up with the gossip.
    x

PS: jinty, glad you got your curtains sorted.

Hope puss is OK with the fish. When mine had tummy problems, my vet recommended chicken, poached, very bland, it apparently helps to settle cat tums - little bit at a time. Any change of diet can really affect them if they've got something else wrong with them at the time.

((((hugs)))) I know well what it's like and really feel for you x

    Hi folks
Don't know where the month has gone as i suddenly realised i haven't posted on here since the beginning nor on the GC thread. Even though i haven't posted i've still been sticking to the NSD mantra and yesterday i reached my target of 20 and today will be NSD 21.

Have spent the last few weeks decorating since i bought all the paint etc months ago, so i've now got a nicely decorated and calming study in which to catch up on all the posts on this thread that i haven't had time to read (should keep me out of mischief for a while)

Well done to everyone on their achievements this month:T

....I notice that a lot of you have budgets for this and that....I was thinking..........(yes it did hurt) Tell me about it confused-smiley-017.gif....I will have the following budgets....Seriously recommend our Cheryl's [cw18] spreadsheet. There's a link somewhere--might even be on the front page....

we all have our own reasons and ways of counting our NSDs. It doesn't matter if we get 1 or 21. The fact is that we are thinking about what we are spending our money on and most of us are reducing the amount of money we spend.

    382534.gif Well done everyone....
As said, Cheryl has designed a really good spreadsheet & I'm sure she will be able to answer your questions. Having said that, I fully agree with the sentiment of your last paragraph & just wish I could say it as well as that medium-smiley-035.gif
....Thinking caps on guys, where shall we honour with our presence this weekend - BMF suggested Edinburgh in view of all the comics on this challenge:D (not sure whether she was being serious or not) or we could brave the seaside again.

Oooh, I've just realised, Buck House starts the opening season this weekend - anyone fancy a visit to London to see the Queen:D:D
I think the Festival starts next week so perhaps an idea for a mid-month jollie. Quite fancy Buck Owz--d'ya fink Lizzie is one of Our Gang--she never carries money, so...*rushes orf to get best china to drink next cuppa from, if I'm still on this thread!*

I'm about to start reading from p 75, having done the previous ones so I'll be back in a mo, but wanted to post before I forgot what I wanted to say
Poor purdee-tat Jinty; if I had known pet owner-ship came with such worries & concerns I'd never have agreed to The Offspring bringing home our little darlings
:o Soon as I saw them my heart melted & I can't bear to think of them having any discomfort

And where do you find your great smilies folks? I love the ones Karen67 posts & look forward to seeing which wonderful imagery is going to accompany your post every day :p
