Congratulations, Queenie! Great news, my dear.
Sharron - Bronnie does still pop by, she's had a new computer so hasn't been around much.
I didn't realise until I had messages on Facebook that my old school pals read my blog. Thank goodness I didn't moan about a reunion on there. At least they won't be shocked to discover "The Sindy Doll" (my nickname at school) went over to the dark side.
Marzi - Some of those M&S Limited Collection shoes are stunning. Very reasonably priced, too.0 -
Marzi, I'm loving the M&S shoes at the moment and those are gorgeous. Good old M&S eh? They're definitely in my good books at the moment as I've discovered a bra that makes my rubbish boobs look perky and impressive
Goan, would love to see some pics of you with blonde hair!0 -
Goan, I can't believe your nickname at school was The Sindy Doll!
Queenie, congrats on the job.
I'm really excited 'cos I've booked for 'Go Ape' on Wednesday :j. I've been wanting to go for ages.0 -
Congrats on the job Queenie.
And Goan I too would love to see a pic of you as a blondie!

thanks everyone, as much as I'm glad for the work and looking forward to the money I've kinda got used to not working again over the last 4 weeks ha! Am looking into some ideas to poss build a business to move towards working from home. Still researching it, so not in a place to launch anything yet, if it even comes to that, I'd love it to be second hand clothes on ebay but sadly I don't have the volume of carboots/jumbles up here to make it profitable enough, so am looking into a few other things.
I second seeing a pic of you Vix with Blonde hairAlso I read your blog from start to finish today, I am sooooo in love with the floral office knee high boots, oh my god they are one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen. And all the little guides/tips/tutorials you used to do were fab, I'd love to see another one soon. and Did you end up wearing the gold dress at glasto? question time over
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Hi girls....
How gorgeous is this spell of weather we're having,( bar the odd blip ).
:wave:waves to sharron helooooo! ....I'm still here, reading if not posting very much atm. Hope you and the tribe are all well!! Do you still have a capsule wardrobe now you've "diversified" or do you feel now you can justify a more eclectic selection??:D
Have got a day at Chester Races booked in at the beginning of August, so got an outfit to plan ahead for that
Haven't done much clothes-thinking since my hols , but hearing of all your bargain hunting is going to set me hot-footing to Hoylake tomorrow, to my fave little charity shop hunting ground and for some nice fruit and veg from the now- famous (thanks to the Mary Portas prog last week) little greengrocers ....and no, despite my spotting Queen Mary during filming, there was no sign of me hovering in the background in the final cut:(
Will let you know if I find any gems tomorrow!0 -
Morning,
Overcast and chilly here. Wearing peach blouse, jeans, cardi and knitted cape - should hopefully be enough to withstand the office air con!
Have a great day.
xx0 -
Morning all.
MF - I love those shoes, have been searching for them in a 7 for ages ;( let me know if you find anywhere that stocks them!!
Queen - congrats on the job!!
Bronnie, I'm off to Chester Races in August and I have no idea what to wear for it!!
Sharron - I have absolutely no idea how you managed to do your challenge- I tried a month once and couldn't do that :S But well done!!
Today's outfit is:
Cream full skirt with blue and yellow polka dots, fornarina (a bit annoyed with this as I got it from ebay after wanting it for yrs and it's a little grey-coloured, as though it's been washed with something it shouldn't have, but as it was only 99p i kept it...)
Yellow tshirt, primark
silver/grey cardi, h&m
yellow gingham heels with bananas on the front, irregular choice0 -
Morning, lovelies!!
I'll try and dig out some blonde photos when I can get into the shed. I loathe myself with blonde hair now, wish I'd dyed it sooner!
Queenie, I'm always after blog inspiration so some "how to's" may be a good idea. Any suggestions of what you'd like are most welcome!
I didn't wear the gold dress (although I did take it with me) perhaps the Big Chill. I do love it.
Bronnie - good luck with the bargain hunting. Look forward to hearing of your bargains. I love Mary Portas, last night's programme was a triumph.
Today's outfit:
Satin kimono from a jumble sale! I will get changed in a bit 'cos my friend 's just called to say she's on her way.0
