Good luck with the bargain hunting lola0

Pebbles, I've seen quite a few of them in the shops. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about whether they're "in fashion" or not - if you like them then just get them.
Outfit for the day is:
seafoam horse print skater dress - Primark
black leggings - DP
black cowboy boots - Evans
black duffle jacket - George
It's freezing and windy in Liverpool today0 -
i know i shouldn't bother about these things but don't want to feel like i am out of touch!
i bought them anyway and i am sure they will look great!!
thanks for the advice everyone!0 -

Outfit:
pink wrap around floral tea dress (not good for the windy weather!)
long grey cardi
cream corsage
pink Poodle print heels (Ic)0 -
Afternoon all,
Must make more of an effort to be involved in this thread again, feel I am slipping - as I wore a smarter top on Thursday along with my new hair and several workmates commented that it was 'a huge difference'.
Having said that it is a Sunday and I am contemplating new dining room furniture, so my outfit is:
Slim leg stonewash jeans (ellos at La Redoute)
Black butterfly-print 'barmaid' top (Peacocks)
Pink fabric ballerinas (EA)
And no makeup! Quelle horreur!!
Just bought a new hairband from ASOS. That site is a bad influence - why, why do I get the urge to buy hugely impractical garments like this? Oh good lord, I've just seen the Vollers corset. That is ridiculously fabulous. I think I was a showgirl in another life."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
The feathery cape is utterly frivolous but I do quite love it.0

Wow Magpye, that cape is glorious! Brandon Flowers had better watch his step. I'm seriously tempted with that beauty.
What a windy day. We're off for an Elderflower Champagne soiree at a friend's house tonight. Rather worryingly they live slap bang in the middle of a nature reserve so I'd better take a change of shoes as it's a long walk up a dodgy path.
Hope everyone's having a good BH weekend so far. I'm not dressed yet, but I'm about to search the wardrobe to find a spectacular party frock shortly.
Have fun.

Magpye - wow, that little cape is sensational. Great price too. Have you bought it yet?
Was in Edinburgh last night seeing a friend for a night out, so crashed at my parents'. My wee nephew Robbie (aged 2) was on a sleepover there too (brother and sis-in-law at a wedding) so we shared a room. Hardly slept a wink - he was quiet as a church mouse but I was so taken I spent most of the night just watching him sleeping (and the rest worrying that he wasn't breathing - which is why I suspect I'll never be a mum, too anxiety ridden!).

Magpye. i do adore that cape!!
Sarah, Edingburgh holds a special place in my heart to- i was born there, i don't go back nearly enough, such a beautiful city and although i firmly am a 'scouser' Edingburgh is part of me. I was 5 when we moved here and have so many happy memorys of walking down Princes street and the man playing bagpipes.... ooo i'm gettin all nostalgic....
Braved a car boot this morning, it was bloomin freezin!! Only turned up a handbag (as if i need another!!) and a gorgeous vintage clasp purse, no name but the quality is excellent leather inside and out.
Wore boyfriend jeans (that are promptly in the bin, all frayed and well past it) pink vest an brown cardy. Now sporting flannelette pajamas (it's freezing) sipping wine (thanks m&S dine for a £10) and watching re-runs of ultimate force with dh i should mention i have a tiny little crush on Ross Kemp, what's that about??
DS is home tomorrow :T he said he is exhausted after 3 days of walking. I have missed him so much, it just isn't right without him, the house is too tidy and no sibling arguments!!

Hi all, hope you don't mind me stopping by to ask a quick question. I'm going to a wedding next week and have a fab pink dress to wear
I wore it with all silver accessories to the last wedding I went to but I have been told that you should 'ring the changes' for this sort of thing and have dug out an amazing black lace shawl that someone gave me that looks great with it. The trouble is that my smart black shoes and bag just don't look 'weddingy' enough and I really don't want to get into buying a new lot as I'm off on hols soon. Would it be awful to wear the black lacy shawl with sparkly silver bag and sandals? Or should I just stick with the same outfit as before? would be really grateful for opinions, I have no confidence in myself at all on this sort of thing.
