Char, that dress is a-ma-zing!! £10 is obscene for p&p....

Alex you should treat yourself to the jumper as a well done - i like it :)

P+P wise, they are two tops, and two cotton dresses, wouldnt' have thought v heavy. Really liked one of the dresses, and looked the other items as she said she combined postage, but kinda thinking i shouldnt' have bothered!

Char - I would pay the £10 p&p and then see how much it is when it arrives. Then ask for refund on the excess postage stating ebay rules about not making a profit on P&P, stating you were happy to pay £10 because you assumed that's how much it actually was. I bought something recently and didn't know how heavy it was - paid £5 but it was only £1.97 when it arrived. She refunded me £2.50 when I asked. Fab dress by the way.

Alex you should buy that, it's fab.

I'm wearing jeans and a black t shirt. having a slob day. I'm going to sort my wardrobe and ebay it to death and start from scratch. Quite pleased as I found a suede skirt I thought I'd lost/sold/thrown out. I'm feeling a skirt AW10 happening!

Right, off to town with sis so she can open her ISA, and so I can pop to boots for some calamine lotion (the cream i was prescribed seems to have done nothing :( ) and spend my no7 vouchers. i really need to find my boots card.
also off to paperchase to try and find my mum a "nice pen" for her bday as thats the only thing she can think of ;S

    Alex,

Having seen the book you were reading on your blog, I wondered if you'd seen these?

    http://www.bookdepository.com/book/9780141044668/Postcards-from-Penguin?b=-3&t=-20#Fulldescription-20

I bought them on impulse about 10 days ago. You can't see much from the link I posted but they have about 60 of the original livery penguin covers (like the one you posted) plus some others. I have grand plans to have a wall of white frames (purchased tonight from IKEA, well got the pine ones, need to paint them) with them in, probably in my study but perhaps in the hall.

    Aloha,
I am home on my first overnight leave! So very strange to have the house to ones self.
Thought I'd spend some time catching up on the forums; make the most of unlimited internet ;)

    Todays outfit:

Bright green apple print dress; monsoon (a ward trip sales bargain)
    Black tights: boots
Black lace up boots: new look (another ward trip buy)
    Purple cardi: sainsburys

Hope everyone is well, can't wait to be properly back!
