    hi girls,

i am looking for some black flat slouchy boots for winter.

i have seen some over the knee ones which are lovely and good price - are they still in fashion or should i go for normal knee high?

i am not sure if the boots could be turned down at the top to get two looks.

    Hi,

I used to always get my winter boots from Faith - a bit lost this year since they've gone bust. Will have a think...

In Edinburgh - going to see a comedy show on the Fringe later. Forget to put my ear-rings in before leaving home yesterday - feel naked without them. A trip to Accessorize is needed!

    Have a great weekend folks.
    xx

I've seen some nice short boots in New Look but am currently resisting, I have knee length ones from last year and my Uggs, but I bought black ankle boots last year and only wore them once and don't think I'll wear them this year(hangs head in shame) I really like the workboot type but don't know I can get away with it, popped to Topshop this afternoon to return the maxi dress and skirt I bought the other week in York and that was horribly thin- god I felt so old in the shop!!!!!!!

pebblespop -don't know about the over the knee boots- haven't seen any about

    Outfit:
Tommy Hilfiger maxi dress which I have to say I'm glad I onlypaid about £15 for as its fading loads and from washing the lining is longer than the dress, don't think it'll get much more wear.
    Black crocs
Tan backpack style bag - Warehouse via CS but exactly the same one is in DP's at the minute

thanks lola. i am not sure either - they are exactly what i was looking for: black suede, slouchy, flat, but i wanted knee high. wouldn't mind over the knee if they aren't out of fashion.

i really like these as they are a good brand and on sale through the ebay outlet. much better quality than i would have purchased on my budget.

    these are them anyway:

    opinions welcome..

Pebbles I love them! They're really cool, and versatile- I think you
could wear them with all kinds of outfits. I tried some v similar ones on in new look today, so I don't think they would be a waste of money or anything! If you like them, buy them! :)

    Have bought so much today!
    Outfit has been:
handmade halterneck dress with squirrel print..
Grey bf cardi and cream corsage..
Blue floral print irregular choice heels, with ribbons and "floating" heels..

Have spent the day shopping in liverpool with alex :)

Pebbles - they'd be good with leggings and the big jumpers that are in / skinny jeans / shorts skirt and tights and at the end of the day as long as you feel comfortable on them thats the main thing even if they were 'out of fashion' you'd make a statement - its good to be different.
Think I might pop to the car boot this morning seeing as I'm up bright and early - see what bargains I can get.
