Hi Belfastgirl. I think the black shawl sounds good. Could you find a pair of black sandals to work for the wedding outfit and also the holiday?0
-
The shawl sounds lovely and I think it would go nicely with the silver accessories. I always think that wraps/shawls/shrugs don't need to be too matchy matchy.
What's everyone up to on this gloriously sunny Bank Holiday Monday? I decided I'd rather have a day off later in the year so am in work today.
Outfit is:
Jeans - DP
White and red stripy tshirt - Gap
Red pumps with bows - DP0 -

I have a pair of slingbacks for the holiday - where we're going is very cobbled and I know I can manage cobbles in those shoes so no point in buying sandals with teeny heels, would only kill myself in them. Also TBH this is my second close family wedding in 3 weeks and I'm really broke!

the slingbacks are black but they look a bit too work shoey for a wedding (or so DH says and I'm inclined to agree)0 -
Well I have to confess to a hideously boring clothes day, changed into a sundress about mid-morning and did a bit of sunbathing in the garden with a book, other than that a boring bt relaxing day of washing and housework..just about to set to work on converting a skirt I purchased from the vintage section of a charity shop in liverpool on Saturday.0

Boring clothes day for me too - jeans, top and hoodie, car boot this morning and jam making and baking this afternoon and then have pulled off the end of my fingernail- ouch, think I need a glass of wine to numb the pain;)0

Oh bleugh. Not a lot of clothes inspiration striking me right now, the weather is all grey and misty!0

Sun is shining-but still in jeans today -I love this time of year, cold mornings and then it warms up - think its because I was always off on maternity leave at this time of year, but it plays havoc witha girls wardrobe as you never quite know what to wear or you have to layer up incase it gets hot later or you can go out in sandals in the morning but it can get a bit chilly and so have cold feet.
Any how- less of the rambling, have been to the gym this morning, DS's are upstairs on xbox and I need to go out and sort out DS1's bus pass, have letter that I need to return with payment but it only arrived on SAturday and bearing in mind they are back at school on Thursday:mad: don't think the bus pass will arrive if I post it so am going to nip out to the offices, then its off to the pub this afternoon for luch and a chill out afternoon me thinks - depending obviously if I drink a glass of vino or two with lunch;)0
