I do keep planning to, but they don't stay in the same place long enough if that makes sense..keep getting little raised "bites" (tho i don't think they are bites, more like heat rash maybe) but htey only seem to stay a day or so, are insanely itchy, and then more come up somewhere else...gaaah.

ETA - really want ot get better at knitting, can only really do the basics, have only ever made a bag and several scarves..

Carrying on with my knitting is the only one of my New Year's Resolutions that I haven't kept up with yet :( I haven't got beyond knitting squares yet - the idea is to make a giant patchwork blanket in various shades of green and different stitches. It may take me about 19 years to complete...

  • Pf, pop to the pharmacy and get them to look at it. I was a pharmacy technician for 12 years and whenever anyone came in with a skin complaint i was sent out to them (skin was my thing) It probably is an allergic reaction which is easily treated over the counter but you never know, best to get it checked.

Wearing a monsoon tunic from car boot, very ethnic and i love it!! Leggings and gladiators!!

Don't know what to do today, all the male members of the house are grumpy, due to a certain team getting wooped last night;) Men and football eh....

Just back from town with a few last things for the 'big walk'. Just got these lightweight combat trousers reduced in Blacks, mainly because they are fast drying and very light http://uk.thenorthface.com/tnf-uk-en/activity/trek-travel/women/trousers-shorts/women-s-meridian-cargo-capri.html

Does anyone else read the Calivintage blog? It's one of my favourites, but she is currently doing a long distance cycle ride and has to carry all her clothes on her bike (I will be carrying all my stuff on my back) and had just done a post on 'cycle chic' so I have been inspired. I will look good on this walk :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Hope all those who feel ill get better soon.
Just back from the back to school shoe shopping trip, notvery successful, DS2 got his shoes but DS1 - there was only one pair he liked ( and that weren't manky!!) but they were too big around his ankle, and they didn't actually have the ones he really wanted so think I'll just go to a different shop and get the ones he wants now I know his shoe size, although his trainers he is wearing is 1/2 size larger than he was measured.

    Todays outfit:
    Next jeans (as yesterday) £3
Next white top with black bow at the neck £2 clearance shop
    Black toe posts £1 Jumblesale
M&S sleeveless waterfall cardi with embellishment on the shoulders £3 M&S sale
