Sharon - thats terrible - sometimes you see people with babies and I do wonder what kind of life they are going to have, I try not to judge but sometimes you hear mothers scremaing and shouting at children in the shops - I hate it, just want to get my two and cuddle them. I can see your point though its good that he sttod up for himself but its the 'what if...' scenario.
Just persuaded DS's to go for a walk - ulterior motive so I could go brambling and they could take guns and play along the path but their friend has just called for them and so they have disappeared outside.
Todays outfit is:
Next bootcut jeans via CS £3
M&S blue vest £1 sale
Mango bue checked shirt £15ish
will be wearing converse pumps later if I go out
If I'd have bought all the wrestlers new in a certain toyshop they would have set me back the best part of £200 instead of the £10-15 they did0 -
Sounds horrid, Sharron. I'm glad he got the bike back and is ok.
Some people are just hideous. We had the office broken into about 2yrs ago now, the police knew who did it, and it went to court, and he was ordered to pay for the stolen items, damage etc, and 2yrs on we still haven't received a penny.
The problem is that some people really jsut don't have any morals, which means the legal system is wasted on them, because they just don't care.
Lola I hate that too, I feel like some people don't deserve to have their kids, when they are in public and treating them so badly, shouting and screaming and threatening them in supermarkets etc.
I kinda feel like I don't have the right to think that, not having any children myself atm, but if i did i wouldnt' dream of treating them like that.0 -
PF, i have a 'look' that i give my kids, they know i mean buisness:rotfl:no need to scream and shout, the 'look' works everytime:T I too try and not judge, i was 18 when i had ds, but it is so hard sometimes, children ultimatly live what they see and the way some parents behave you wonder how on earth will the children learn any differently..
* Sharron climbs down off soapbox*
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Having spent last few days at centerparcs I have come back with the knowledge that I have brought my boys up well. DS2 (4) got told off once and DS1 (12) not at all. DS2 only got told off because he was wrestling with DS1 in the pool and sat on him holding his head under the water. It was actually play wrestling so not too bad. I'm glad your boy got this bike back Sharron.
I'm in old jeans and and a black t shirt and cardi combo with a black and white patterned scarf.
I bought a pair of Henry Lloyd jeans at centerparcs - reduced from £65 down to £19. Bargain. No more clothes spends for a while I think. Not sure of my job situation at the mo.0 -
Is this cute or naff? I can't decide if I love it or hate it!
