Well its still sunny here and I finally got changed out my tracksuit bottoms. Now wearing an assymetrical patterned tunic with leggings and very high heels. Hairs a mess but i'm saying its the 'bedhead' look. Wearing my mac make up minus the eyeshadow and i'm actually feeling pretty good about myself today.

Still looking for a new hairstyle - argh!

    Afternoon Ladies!

Hope everyone has some sunshine today, I have decided to never believe the weatherman again after he told me yesterday it would be lovely and sunny all day. I was wearing shorts and it was not sunny!

No sunshine here, nice and rainy just in time for the flower show in our town..

ETA - Mia, I totally need a new style for my hair too, but I don't know where to go about finding one. A style full stop would be good!

I went to the hairdressers yesterday and got basically the same style as usual, only a bit more of a fringe.:p

Pirate- got converse that I wear with them but they are pink so I feel a bit limited - although I don't go over the top with colour co-ordination the top I wear has to kind of go with pink. re- flip flops- I only kind of have worn gladiator styles this summer (note the past tense) but I do have croc flip flops. Maybe need to invest in more converse- - well thats my excuse and I'm sticking with it.:o

At least the rain has stopped here -so the kids might get to go in the play area at the pub this afternoon - just found a waterproof jacket in my wardrobe so am going to put that on this afternoon - Primarks finest Leopard print:D

    Afternoon, Lovelies!!!

Great to see caroline back. Sorry to hear of your sickness, Sharron.
Hope everyone else is hale and hearty this foul wet and cold August afternoon. Hope it's better than this for next week's Green Man Festival.

Lola - with my flares I wear wooden platformed wedges. Nothing else seems to work with them so I keep them authetically 70's.

Yay to Alex for the "thrifting" blog post. Helga and I often talk about how annoying the "T" word is. There's far too many Americanisms creeping into our daily language and whilst I'm whinging what's a Cup Cake? Surely they are Fairy cakes.

    Anyway today's outfit:
    Dollyrockers 1970's maxi skirt
    Black long sleeved body
    Black lace-up ankle boots
    Huge leather corset belt
Black and silver Celtic bird pendant
    Silver hoop earrings
    Usual bangles and rings
Aubergine cropped velvet jacket with gold paisley, sequins and leaves

(All second-hand or bought in India)

And the word gotten. It really grates on me when non-US people use it.
