A few kitchen towels on the wax, then run over with a warm iron? It worked for me on a rug.0

Could you melt it with a hairdryer then wipe it up?Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0

Hi Pinkpeach:hello:
Two great suggestions so far - I would try either to be honestI have seen Kim and aggie do the hair dryer one, and an iron is also anothjer good way of getting it out.
Do let us know how you get on
There is another thread -candlewax and candlegrease so I'll add your thread to that one later, so if someone asks in future they can find the answer
I know you say you searched the indexed collections, but sometimes it is easier to do an advanced search - explained very well by Squeaky - I searched but couldn't find anything.
Once you learn to use the advanced search, there will be no stopping you
thanks

I've got wax off hard surfaces but getting a very hot, damp cloth and holding it over the wax for a couple of minutes. Usually the wax softens wnough for you to just wipe it away.0
