Please take your arguing elsewhere, so the rest of us can benefit from the useful posts on this thread.
Thank you.
On a completly different issue regarding the cinema card if you are a regular cinema goer and have a cineworld near you they do a monthly unlimited £13.50 a month by direct debit we enquired how this worked if you had the CEA card you buy the disabled person the unlimited and when purchasing a ticket show the CEA card and a carer goes free. We haven't taken this out as although we enjoy the cinema don't go that often but thought info might be of use to someone else0 -

Adoreholidays, if the night time incontinence is due to a disability, it is worth contacting your paediatric continence nurse. They will try to find ways to help your son to become dry at night, but in the meantime, they might also supply pullups free of charge.
Incidentally, I am on benefits (caring for my disabled son) and I don't get anywhere near £50k. Nor do I spend my time in the pub - too expensive, even if I wanted to. I also pay a proportion of my mortgage, with the DWP paying most of it. I pay the remainder as well as the endowments and insurances (yet my ex is still entitled to 50% when I sell, although he can't force me and the children to move out, so it could be a very long time before he gets anything. But that's another story).0 -
Thanks Kingfisherblue our son has been attending an enuretic clinic for 3years they have tried desmomelts, alarm and now to drink as much as he can before 6pm then only sips after that but unfortunately as he is on medication that suppresses his appetite in the day time so does not eat or drink until late so it has been difficult. No one has ever mentioned help with drynites yet they know he uses them. Just wondering is the paediatric continence nurse different to enuretic clinic.
I must apoligise to you I can see how my comments could have been quite hurtful to someone in your situation or anyone else for that matter. The fact this is a disability thread means people have their own difficult situations and probably had to and still having to fight battles to get help they so deservedly need and as Blackpool_saver rightly reminded me this is what this thread is about0 -

It was not directed at you personally I can assure you, and I agree with what you say to be honest after high rate tax and getting no income related benefits and paying mortgage rent and council tax with no help, you husbands salary is NOT that huge. I have lived rich and on benefits and the gap is not always all that wide.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
