Managed to just buy milk yesterday and hoping for a NSD today, which will make two this week. Have updated sig. Baked HM bread and cakes this morning and everthing is prepared for dinner later, so time for a nice cuppa I think.

    Have a nice day everyone!

    Hi,
Asda delivery arrived this morning really pleased, have been refunded though ,they forgot my cat tins:(.
Have made any easy raisin cake from an old cookbook ( I collect old cookbooks) it is in the freezer with an extra lemon drizzle cake I made last week. I have a also made some blueberry muffins for the cake tin . At last I am making more for the freezer. For tonights tea I have prepped a choc sponge pudding for the microwave and prepped the sauce as well, as we will be in quite a rush again.
Weather here is sunny, cloudy with a wonderful BREEEEZZZE at last:). At least its bearable with the oven on now.:)

Spent €10.00 this morning, couldn't resist 2 pineapples at a euro each, for some reason pineapples are cheaper this year than usual, so making the most of them as they are one of my favourite fruits which is usually out of my price range.

I have stopped doing a weekly shop....used to shop weekly whether I needed to or not I am using up things in fridge and freezer....motto now is that I don't shop if there is food for today in house...seems to work well as I don't spend any more at each shop than I used to do.

    Hi everyone

Managed 4 NSDs in a row this week as laid up at home with bad back :( not been lured to Lidl at lunchtime as not at work :o, been managing food wise as plenty in freezer and cupboards to last until weekend.
Asked OH to bring in bread tonight and as he will pay for that :D won't get added into the total.

OMG it's not only thurs again (shopping) but have just looked out window and it's raining on my clean washing!!
Money tight again but have enough for food and bus fare untill FA comes in next week.
Am just going through my cupboards and freezer to see whats left. I have enough baking stuff left to bake at the weekend found two lemons I didnt use. Need some muffin cases and caster sugar.
If I work it out frugally and we have pasta and jackets got soup tonite made from all veg that was left HM bread DH is away so that makes it easier too. Then all will be well. I shop on my own no distractions and I take my time.
There got a plan will stick to it
    big hugs and
    happy shopping, or not
    xx

Went to Mr M today and spent £5.21 - I could have spent more on bargains, but I managed to only buy the things I needed - noodles, wooden skewers and some other bits & pieces. That takes my total to £99.73 - I'll update my sig accordingly. :)

Another no spend day today, which brings this month's total to 9. My goal is to not spend for 6 days out of the next 16. Not sure that's realistic but we'll see how it goes.

Loads in freezer and cupboards but fresh food starting to get low. Going to put together an order for local f & v shop and see how his prices compare to Mr A. If they are comparable I will use the local shop instead as his produce always looks good.

Best of luck for rest of month, K
