Apologies if anyone has suggested it
What about fudge? The microwave method is from U-tube the guy is called Australian chef:cool:
The microwave method is:-
I tin of condensed milk
50g of butter
300g of chocolate ( I used asda own brand dark eating chocolate 29p per 100g) DO NOT USE COOKING CHOC
Heat for 3 minutes in the microwave and mix throughly
Add any additions ( nuts, cherries marshmallows etc) and chill for at least 2 hours before chopping up.
Tastes divine about 5,000 calories a slice but when I made a test batch for the girls to make it all disappeared. It keeps for about 6 weeks but make now and put in freezer until closer to the time

Mum2one, a question please.
I finally bought some coffee mate and thought that before I try mixing it up next week, I'd make myself a few cups of normal coffee and added 2 teaspoons of it as per instructions on the box, haven't had any for years. But it tasted completely different (a bit on the yukky side) than I was expecting.
This one is Nestle. Any ideas?0 -
Penny1973 - just got a question about the fudge - how well does it freeze? Do you cut up up before you freeze it or freeze the slab? How long does it take to defrost?

Most are based on the same ingredients, ther only thing can think off was maybe too much went in, I know they say 2 teaspoons full, sometimes there an adjust to taste. I know the flavoured coffees the hot choc etc will give them the sweeter tatse.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
