Companies that won't deal with women!

Oh come on. It's common knowledge that women don't know anything about building stuff, electrical stuff, technological stuff, cars, engines, driving etc. The only purchases they generally get to decide are "Shall I get him pork of lamb for dinner tonight?"
No doubt I'm going to get shot down by the "You're so sexist, I can change oil in a car, set up a DVD player and I've never had a car crash" brigade, but you're a minority. Men generally make the big decisions, earn all the money, and understand finances.
I'm joking so don't cry.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0 -
Here's an idea for you, call round here and tell she who must be obeyed that drivel and see how long it is before you sing soprano, she I guarantee can wipe the floor with you on all those subjects, she holds HND minimum in most, it is a fact women understand complex financial details far better than men, also they have a tendancy to read contracts word for word and pick up all the main pitfalls unlike us lazy males who just glance through it and pretend we understand, Men and Women do have lots of major differences in the way they work, think and do things but your coment I would say is not in the least bit sexist, it is more patronising, uneducated, ignorant, biggoted and ill informed, my guess is you have had a couple of divorces and and existing relationship on the rocks to make such a comment.
Cry, cry, cry, cry.
I was joking. Baiting for a reaction, and I got one. "Trolling". I have a very boring life.0 -
I was going to make a comment on here, but unfortunately I need both householders to be online when I do it......:) and of course I havn't the time to write in a big font so the lil ladies can understand it (that was a joke
)
The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D
Don't like what I have to say? Call me on 0800 KMA;)0 -
Years ago I really did have someone not want to talk to me because I was a women. Had a PC delivered. Didn't work. Rang the set-up helpline. Went through a bit of help, still didn't work. The man I spoke to repeatedly asked if there was a man there he could talk to instead. No. Then he said could I ask a man friend to come round and ring them. No. We continued (don't know why I put up with it, these days I'd have got on to the manager and given them an earful). Then he heard my son talk in the background. 'Who's that?' he asked. My son I said. 'Oh, he said, 'can I talk to him about it'. No, I said, he is 8 years old....At this point I finally ran out of patience.
He obviously thought I was just a thick woman who couldn't do anything with computers (wrong). I returned Pc. Turns out it was a manufacturing fault and they replaced it immediately.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
