I can always put a temporary sticky post at the top of the diary board if not? Another way to remind/tell people who don't read this thread about the programme?

Or maybe just do that anyway regardless?

That would work well. Thanks. Whatever you recommend...

    Now done. :)

Careful making comments about people with a splash of red on the ceiling...

Yes Mike, I think you'll find yours isn't entirely red with orange walls....mainly cos Julia is nice and she listens and you were too sensible to ask for that!

We mentioned the anonymity thing several times, especially when a certain person kept mentioning that everyone (almost) was in debt.

6 months instead of 5 is progress Butti :D Toy boys can be good, so I have heard ;)

I'm just hoping the Beeb didn't get me having a hissy fit with the non-debt member of the team. I was like a small child jumping up and down going 'I just want to put one bloody bit of furniture together'. Really it could kill my career prospects.

Wow MIKE loved the programme snippits. First time you have seen them. (Us too) Things were more advanced when we landed.

Buttie - If your romance only lasted 6 months then he is the poorer. Mr Right will trip you up when the time is ripe.;)

Ian - we still want to know what part you played. Fess up.

Janet, I'm hoping he won't trip me up. My nose has already been punched by an airbag. It could do without hitting concrete after the love of my life has tripped me up. Although if he is a motorcycling paramedic that would be okay. Once had a very fit police motorcyclist telling me on an observed ride that I had been a very naughty girl - I was nearly wetting myself!

Well, you will need to think laterally Mike. Do her eyes still work ok? If so, put that nice dress on, that will explain everything ;).

Oohhhh, looking forward to Thurs :). Crikey, from those clips it looks like they BUILT a house, never mind renovated :rotfl:

I thought they DID build the house GG! You'll have to wait till Thursday though :rotfl:

SB - I was so sad to never meet you. Might try and correct that in 2011 (once I've done my assignments)

The invitation is an open one for all those wishing to attend the Virtual Party whilst watching DIY SOS "The Dolls House - The Transformation" not to be missed..... 30.12.10 from when you can get here... bring what you want all Christmas leftovers would be welcome. The champers is on ice. My DS's have eaten all the twiglets, but hey I am sure there is enough. Mike just tell mum that the Lisa is your character name that the BBC have cast you as and you will be fine..... did make me laugh out loud. Have tried to explain the whole saga to DS's over Christmas - think they are sure I have lost the plot and have said they may try to remember to watch it!! Anyway time moving on so must away to bed, am at 2nd job tomorrow and Thursday and then have Friday off alone - hurray can clean the house and have a ball!! Looking forward to trying to guess whos who. Billie xx

  • :o Crikey...that post was long wasn't it..sorry for that. That's what you get for teaching me how to copy & paste!!:p Just think yourselves lucky it wasn't a phone call!

Just logged on to start sending PM's out to those I promised to let know when programme is on. Busy time for most of us so I didn't want to run the risk of people missing it that had been really looking forward to watching it because they hadn't logged on. PM's should go to e-mail accounts automatically shouldn't they? :o

FERMI...Thanks for being a star! Massive help & hopefully reach many more lurkers that we aren't aware of. I guess good viewing figures would be the best thanks we could give Simon Knight & DIY SOS crew. :T

:( Poo... Sorry I hadn't been in touch. Thought about it many times but didn't want to be an annoying friend by giving you no peace. Sooner be an annoying friend than an ignorant one so wish I had trusted my gut that something must be wrong and contacted you sooner. You're not just poos mate...you're my mate too, just sorry I haven't been a better one.:( Sorry, Sorry, Sorry.

Haven't forgotton the last night in Littlehampton when you witnessed my meltdown & the fact that you weren't freaked out by it and how you managed to turn my tears to fits of giggles, I hadn't laughed so much for a very long time. Ever grateful. x:A
