Oh Maty I know we were in everyone's thoughts and not forgotten, but just needed to point out my mad post where TMIF thought I had totally lost the plot. I know i shall be screaming at the telly, but god knows why because I will not be so fortunate as those who were there because they will know who is who!! Another party sounds fun - I think I will stock up on tena and tissues today when out doing some Christmas shopping - sorry SB, hang on a seem to remember you were going to be doing some this weekend!! Raining here now and the snow is quickly melting off to haridressers so speak later. Billie xx

You may have felt left behind, but you were with us honestly. SB would not let any one of you be forgotten and we talked about you all the time.

Dip and crisps will be at the ready on the 30th, probably with a nice bottle of red :)

Note, Maty didn't say what it was SB* was telling us all! ;) :rotfl:

Billie - I think you'll probably work some of us out!!!! Shhhhh, no telling though. :D

The great thing about iplayer and multiple windows on your laptop/PC/Mac/Netbook/Ipod/pad/Smart phone/less intelligent phone/ is that we can arrange as many online parties as we need to to make sure no-one is left out!

Poor Mike, after the emotional rollercoaster 10 days he had away from home, then the thrill of seeing the house in all it's new found glory he came outside to meet every one. We made him guess who all the people were in the Mike's Mob TShirts :D You too can play this game :rotfl:

Anyway, hoping the fact that Mike is being very quiet today means that he is hard at work on our Christmas Card :j:money::j

As you have probably gathered I survived a day with the nieces, although one had a better offer and one only lasted part of the day due to flu :( Anyway, I have three more people marked off the Christmas present list, think that leaves about 10 or 12 to go

Hope you have all had a good day and are starting to thaw out :)

:oone of many many quirks I've developed over the years..leaving the house! Shopping urg, people :o CROWDS of people:eek:. If I'm brave enough on the day, maybe. My involvement is most likely to be scan DS's Christmas list, re-do list with relevant Argos catalogue numbers, send OH out! :p:rotfl:Job Done! :D

Just wait till you meet them all Billie, they're even better in real life! ;) I was SO keen to meet them all, I even left the house!! :o Really glad I did & I'd overcome my quirk any day of the week to meet any one of you! :A

  • I guess most of you must have been out shopping this weekend then? Been very quiet in here this weekend.

Maty & Billie & anyone else out doing scary things (like shopping) hope you found what you were all looking for & 'enjoyed' yourselves???

Wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit until I sat and watched 'Summer Magic' (nothing to do with Christmas but reminded me of watching it with DS when he was a wee lad & how much fun Christmas used to be full of fun and surprises...back in the day before you were shopping to order!) Absolutely love Ugly Bug Ball, always makes me smile! :o

Feeling grand the last couple of days and now full of Christmas spirit to boot! :) Blitz chores today, Tree is coming out tomorrow! :j:j

Fogot to welcome Northernlass to the thread & the rave up (sorry). Hope you can join us on the 30th....but I'm inclined to say to tell your OH he isn't invited! ;) (but then I'm not the most forgiving person, even for christmas spirit!:D)

cherisong...:(noticed you'd had your share of problems with the snow. Glad you're alright and that you got a car sorted!

Really hoping former posters all find their way back by Christmas, missing everyone popping in with funny stories and words of wisdom! :A

Mike... Can't wait to see the programme but also realised that once it's been shown, you'll be able to pick up your dealings with Paul Bridle! It really would be the icing on the cake to see you win back the money he stole from you and the financial hardship it caused for you and your boys. Although I know the money would have been spent on the house anyway but for everything he put you through & for how your health was affected, he owes you big time. 2 years of your life were also stolen, 2 years that could have seen you fully recovered and working for a decent wage & enough money to cover your own bills without worry. Not to mention enjoying life with the remainder of your income. I really do hope that 2011 will bring you the level of success you had in solving your housing problem and beat the !!!!!! in court! Win or lose, I know you'll put up a tremendous effort & for that, you'll always be a winner in my eyes! :)

I've a feeling 2011 will be a good year for us all! Bring it on! :)

  • Nicely put SB* - it'd be exeptionally just for Mike to get compensation for the hurt and pain (and illness, misery, financial hardship) caused by the builder at the heart of all this carp!

Even if no refund, something through the civil court would be very nice :)

Mike, don't even joke about doing something like that, especially not on here.

All you need is for another disgruntled customer to do it and you could end up with the blame :(

Awwh, thanks SB, I'll be there on the 30th :j Actually I have been reading Mike's exploits since April, but never been brave enough to post before :rotfl:

RE: OH, I am maintaining a dignified silence and I think his guilt is maturing nicely :T (bad dobby (NL) ... but he deserves it ;))
