SB I got your text, but the email seems to have got lost....

Will be moving very early January, either into a room for a few weeks or a flat if we find the right one. Not really sure what's going to happen as my flatmate is away for a month from mid-January and doesn't really want to pay rent if she can help it. I just hope it doesn't drag on too long.

Nic, I keep meaning to get one of those sleeping bag things for someone for Christmas. But I fear she would actually walk to work in it!! :eek:

Message today from BBC saying they've been told it's the 30th Dec.

We shall see!

Fell over in car park today. Pillock! At my age it's quite nice to just stay down there for a few moments. Anyone else get that? Also see if anything needs doing while I'm down there.

Not even a bruise, fortunately. Are limps still attractive?

I didn't say it was the official date... just the latest announcement. I can't believe this happens with every programme!

Mike - Great news on the transmission date (though I would have preferred Christmas day as I have the day to myself )

Hope you were wearing a cushioned coat or have some padding to soften the blow. You can get rubber crampoon thingys of 'tinternet - they give you traction on ice apparently.

Hope the 'lady talk' on MG thread hasn't put you off too much ... hope to see you over there soon
