Long story. It's Sky's free service as I can't pay £50 a month any more. I get the free stuff and HD but most of the functions don't work unless you have a contract. I spend too much time flicking through channels looking for something interesting, when I should be out and about.

I sound like my mother...

Me and my flatmate were talking last night and have decided to move out. It's too cold already, and the new windows might help but then we have to clean up all the mould and stuff as well. Sorry not been around for a while, apart from bad back getting me down, DS had also been poorly!

Got up this morning to a little bit of snow, supposed to be more coming in but glad I managed to get shopping done last Saturday. OH has decided NOT to come home this weekend because of road closures, I think it's probably got something to do with the fact we were supposed to start the Christmas shopping too! Made my first purchase towards Christmas on Saturday....chocolates for the tree!....Which we ate on Monday!

Anyway....Hope everyone is well? I know some of you have been hit hard with the snow, stay safe when you're out and about but hope you all have supplies in and can sit it out safely at home as much as possible.

Glad to see you back Ouch to slippin on the deck, take care now you have snow. Sorry DS has been poorly, hope he is on the mend now.

I gave up on Chocolates for the tree as they never ever made it that far :eek:

Can't wait for the programme to be aired, I have NO patience :mad: Please please please let it be soon.

Hi All - not much happening with us we have only had a little snow - my sons in Leeds are having a ball I think they are making up for a deprived child hood of no snow!!! Sorry to hear about your fall as well SB. I just feel jarred for a few days, no long lasting effects to speak of. Another sale started today so at work until 10.30 tomorrow unless of course we have the snow that they have forecast and then I may not be going very far - oh I dream of a day where snow forces me to stay at home!! I feel we may all have to start lobbying beeb again for a date. Take care one and all and keep safe too Billie xx

Oh and forgot the say the house that we were helping decorate for a friend is now finished and has just gone on the market, so theoretically I should have more hours in the week shouldn't I?? Felt quite proud when the Estate Agent walked in and said how well decorated it was - once all our equipment was moved out and the floors washed etc., it all looks rather smart. Billiex
