Hello Mike - you were up early! Are you dog-walking again?
How is the Dolls House coming along? Don't tell us if you have painted over the football mural, I am sure the creative geniuses (genii?) would be soooo sad, but I expect you have personalised it with hanging baskets and so forth.
Psycho and Nic - it's great that you two will be managing to meet. (Good excuse for the rest of us to have some fun too, though I'm not sure I'm up to getting Happy out from under the table again).

Morning all, just thought I'd pop in and show my face (ok show my typeface then).
Hope all are well and those going to the Glasgow meet have a real good time. I can't go as I am brassic now. I have finally managed to buy a new old banger so Satan will soon be off to car heaven (and hopefully I'll have some nice spondulies to put back in the bank!).
I'm taking this opportunity to have a clear out of anything metal that doesn't have a purpose, I finally freed my old broken oven from it's housing yesterday, wow, I've never been so exhausted from screwing! Why do men have to screw things so tightly? Not sure if I should clean the old oven before bunging it in the boot of the car, I mean no-one is going to see it, but it is disgracefully filthy! Actually, I don't think it's that bad so a quick clean should bring it up to just less than disgraceful.
Sorry I haven't dropped in so much recently, I've actually started working on stuff in the house and clearing the garden for my new venture with my friend, "River Cottage - It's Not A Cottage And It's Not Near A River". I think I became a real gardener this weekend as I planted some cabbages, lettuce and spring onions. I was so pleased with myself I've started my own thread on the Greenfingered board. I've been lurking over there quite a bit to pick up tips on what to plant, how and when.
Oh well, must get off and take some tablets, not feeling too good atm so tablets and sleep are in order I think. Strange really, I feel as though I slept like a log last night but feel like I could fall asleep on a washing line right now!
Speak again soon, take care all,
Love

Poor Satan, abandoned in favour of a younger model with less attitude
.
Excellent work on the gardening front. I've been comtemplating window boxes with herbs and things... but it'll probably be one of those things I mull over in my head and never get around too!
Psycho - make sure you're not hungover on Sunday then... Monday's a bank holiday so I can actually have a drink or several on Sunday before you go... (unless you need a lift to the airport?)

£1.7million on a London flat!??!?
I'd rather spend £500k on a small holding in the country, use £200k on solar panels, wind turbine, chickens, pigs and fruit and veg and bank the rest.
There's nothing like living off the fat of the land!
Says she who has yet to actually produce any fat! lol
Hope all are well, isn't there supposed to be a programme on the telly that we're all going to watch one day?
See you all soon.
