    A bunch of Australians suggested cutting the country's internet, radio and tv for a couple of hours at their midnight just to freak the US out.

    They didn't, and the world hasn't ended in the southern hemisphere, anyway.

    I guess I'd better buy some Christmas presents...

    Thanks Happy! Even more so than I realised! It was around about this time of year 3 years ago that I posted my SOA - can you believe it! I'm hoping I can make it onto the debt-free roll of honour by March! :D

    But it's so much harder staying focused when you have a wee bit more to play with than when you have nothing! The list of things I want to do to the flat is growing by the second! And it's already taken me a year to do the spare room - which isn't anywhere near finished! I'm worried I'll just think "s0d it, I can put that on the credit card, it won't take me long to pay off" once everything is paid up and I get obsessed by wanting a wood burning fire/new kitchen/new bathroom... :o

    Although I know the MSE thing to do is get an emergency fund together!!! :whistle:
