Is it me or is everyone on here either Scottish, or connected to Scotland in some way?
What on earth are they all doing on a money saving website?

Did wonder that myself! Rodders will be fine Maty, he wll melt everybody's heart as he runs away with the new socks, cuddly toys, treats and anything he can get his jowls aroundSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. We're probably all related to Scottish people, some of which will be related to Irish people escaping potato famines.
You don't have to be scottish to be canny.

In a famous case a Woolworth's was on fire and people still queued to pay for their stuff. Nine people were killed:
"A serious fire erupted just after 1pm on 8 May 1979 at the Manchester store opposite Piccadilly Gardens, said at the time to be the largest Woolworths in Europe, with six floors plus two basement levels. The disaster has become a significant object of study for academics interested in the behaviour of people in emergency situations, after research showed a number of customers (predominately in the public restaurant area) refused to leave despite the sounding of alarms, requests from staff and even the smell and visibility of smoke; some even continued to queue at an abandoned check-out. The majority of those who perished were in this area."0 -
Did anyone else notice a horrendous bit of product placement during the Tsunami programme - something about water giving life? I'm wondering if DH and I misheard but surely two of us wouldn't have misheard the same thing?Miggy
