    Sounds like you're being modest...

    OK maybe you aren't!

What is it that makes 'a small farm/orchard worker's cottage' sound all bucolic and Vicar of Dibley? I love it already. I must give you the name of my builders...
:rotfl:It's a rather nice cottage, red brick at the front, cotswold stone at the sides and render on the back!!! I could do with having one extra room (for crafting etc), a back porch/utility room and some double glazing. It can get pretty chilly here at times, despite the wood burner! Got a few builders lined up to get quotes early 2012...just might get something done next year.....only been waiting 16 years! :o

I will be eating the abandoned coffee creams...
Oh, you beat me to it! My family always fight over the coffee ones, there just never seems enough..unless you get a bag of coffee creams on their own...yummmm!

    Re Christmas Day:

We are off to MIL's in Fife for 5 days over Xmas, will be fun and relaxing. I do like my MIL, so long as she stays out of my kitchen!!!

She is 82 and still travelling the world on cruises, coach trips and golfing holidays. She manages a couple of rounds of golf a week when she is home, though not at the moment with all this terrible weather!!!

Ooops, just realized the time...need to get some shut-eye, lots to do tomorrow/today.

    Night, night x

I'm working until 8.30 on Christmas Eve, hopefully if we aren't late I'll make it home by midnight, eat chocolate all day and watch rubbish tv while dinner is made :) drink a little bit and return on boxing day in time for work at 3pm. Will be seeing MrS up in Fife on my days off which aren't NYE either :(

Unfortunately it's the same... no extra money as incentive! I've asked for unpaid leave 3 times and still nothing...

Well, I shall be visiting if it hasn't all blown away :rotfl:

That's rotten about your pay and lack of time off. Hope you can get up north OK. You could always "get stuck" there for a few extra days ofcourse.....:D:D
