Just had a wee thought - remember Mike used to join us & MrF - how are their bags? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Oh crikey Cheri, don't get Mike started on his handbag collection. Nevermind what's in them!
I'm sure he keeps everything including the kitchen sink in there, just in case. The things you do to stop Neville getting to the hobnobs!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I am content with the colours, styles, quantity and content of my handbags, thank you.
And yes, they do match my shoes.

He was very much alive and trying to get amorous with a Stella Artois bottle at the weekend (That sounds ALL wrong but we do have the photographic proof!)

Hi Guys, hope everyone is doing well?
Mike,
Something has been troubling me but I wasn't sure whether I should mention it or not. Thought it best to address the issue to avoid any misunderstandings and because I'd hate for any of your supporters to have been offended.
My concern is that the thread reads as though invites were being sent out to all your supporters for a large get together on the beach, no post was ever made to say this didn't actually happen. Hurtful to anyone reading that wasn't aware of it?
I rarely post anywhere else, fear of 'fitting in' I guess. Everyone here was so lovely, I felt accepted & loved being a part of such a supportive group of caring individuals. I wouldn't want to offend a single one of them. I only mention it because I'd hate the thread to become a 'them' and 'us' situation or make anyone feel unwanted. I know you have personally welcomed everyone to your thread and thanked them all for their messages, I'd be doing you a dis- service if I'd made anyone feel anything less.
Although picnic on the beach was a nice idea in theory, In practise it was a lot to ask or expect you to do. Knowing how depression affects me, the thought of being paraded to 300 plus people would have completely freaked me out and I wouldn't want to put a friend under that amount of pressure, not forgetting you're the shy retiring type, thought you'd had enough of being in the spotlight!
I'm sorry if you were put in an awkward position, we're all here for the same reason and want what's best for you. That's what friends are for!
Phew....feel better for getting that off my chest, hope nobody minded & knows me well enough to know I'm just trying to do the right thing by everybody. No wish to cause a problem, just wanting to avoid a potential one.
Is that okay? (will delete if I've caused offence or embarrassment.)PROUD MEMBER OF
