New attacks on I.B claimants

Fact: All the welfare "reforms" and the latest plans are only about saving the government money. Fraud in the system is only a small percentage.
The checks and investigations already in place are being changed in order to "Move the goalposts" in order to deny people benefit to save the government money(greed). The sick and disablesed will not continue to get what they need to survive.

Every single time the government refer to benefits they describe claimants as "workshy, fraudsters, scroungers, cheats"
Admitidly it does exist, as it does within parliament. Dont forget the MP SCROUNGERS. But it is only a tiny percentage they are actively trying to implement it is everyone claiming are like this, NOT TRUE. They then use this as an excuse to "move the goalposts" to suit themselves.

Ny husband claims Incapacity Benefit. However he still sees thaty people have to be checked upon to ensure they still fulfil the criteria for receiving the Benefit. What is wrong with that?

(However, he tells no-one he claims this Benefit as most people would react as people have to this article, thinking that anyone claiming such a benefit must be on the scam).

Now testing 30 000 a week? Either they are now using 3x the amount of ATOS staff and gee i wonder what that's costing the gov't or they have shortened the fit for work test to: Is claimant breathing? Tick. Fit for work.

They want to introduce stiffer checks for people who are declaring themselves unfit for work....and its about time too!!

In reality, there are very few conditions or illnesses that render a person totally unfit for any work and even those ones are being abused by some people trying to feign illness.

If anyone is spreading untruths and causing public outrage, its you, the OP.

You talk as though its Us V Them.....Them being the 'Greedy Government'. It isnt their money they are being 'greedy' with....its ours, the Tax payers. So, is it really the working citizens of the country who are 'greedy' because I wholeheartedly hope they pull in 1000's of these claimants.

most of the benefits under scrutiny were introduced by the last tory government, the reason for this was that nobody will re-elect a government who is seen to make unemployment figures rise under there rule, soon the current morons will do sums and work out that taking people off of incapacity benefit can only have one result-more people will be on unemployment benefits. They cannot invent jobs from thin air, more people on unemployment benefits means unemployment figures rise hugely and they look very very bad at governing the country, it wont last for long, we just have to put up with the persecution until the morons work out what is going on and then they will leave us alone like the last tories did.

Fact or not - the government has to save money because of the obvious - the country is in debt, spending what we cannot afford. The Government has indicated it will look at everything and do what they can - I say give them the chance, and it may well be that benefit levels will fall but sick and disabled will contimnue to be looked after, although some of us may need to dip voluntarily into our own wealth to help out - I do that with my own mum without any grumbles, I believe the state can only do so much for her - and I want it to continue to provide what I cannot, health care etc. I can put food on her table.

If we want the state to continue to be Father Christmas, we need to look again at out letters and list of "I wants".

If reducing our debt, making our country more stable and developing policies which make the UK a good place to do business with, then the jobs will come as entrepreneurs and businesses see here as a good place to invest. The only jobs the government can invent are public service jobs and they have made it quite clear that that is not a road they will take. Thank goodness, having experienced public and private sector employment I know where I had the cushiest number.

It is. This is the way they want it. They have stacks of money to suit themselves , endless sums for greedy bankers and illegal wars all over, invading other countries, not to mention their own trough they all have thier snouts in.
The lies and propaganda being fed to the public is actively promoting hatred in this country, even the ECHR is now looking into this. Just because our government do this doesn't mean its all legal. They are dictators. Never believe a word government say and you won't go far wrong.
