Oh grow up here comes the "clique" arguments. You all have valid points but you let yourself's down every time by being childish and resorting to petty childish sniping.

I'm just so fed up of having to constantly defend/justify myself.

Life is hard enough already without being made to feel unworthy.

I don't think i've been childish but then again I am autistic & tend to let my emotions rule my head.

I apologise if I have offended anyone.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

The thing is you don't have to justify yourself to anyone end of, there is nothing wrong whatsoever with healthy debate but it always ends up getting personal and b!tchy and not very nice to watch.

It seems to me that you older people have a chip on your shoulder & appear to be jealous of us younger people who have illness/disabilities. Your own live must be very sad if all you have to do is try to make people that are already struggling with mental health conditions actually feel worse.

We older people simply seem to be made of stronger stuff than many of you younger ones (and I'm sure my parents were tougher than I am) and believe in being positive, optimistic and self reliant wherever possible. I'm sure that many of us think that some of you are defeatist and give up too easily and aren't prepared to make the best of things.

Society's attitudes change but the comparative ease of receiving benefits these days often seems to have had a bad affect on people's characters and self reliance. Personally, these are the attitudes that I dislike and criticise,

I rather think that DX2 was trying to pour oil on troubled waters - although a fat lot of good that did her if some people's reaction is anything to go on!

    I rest my case.
Jesus you act like a stroppy teenager, can't actually discuss anything so you throw your childish insults into the discussion.

I suppose that has always been the case, look at how tough people were & what they survived during the blitz.

    Things also effect everyone differently.

I often wonder whether I would of coped differently with what has happened to me if I hadn't been autistic or even if I hadn't been diagnosed as autistic.

I admit it has effected my judgement, the way I perceive myself & even makes me doubt my own ablities.

Ive been told that I have problems with x, y & z therfore I now think I can't do x, y & z even though I know that I mangaged to do these things before I knew I was autistic.

I am hoping that come September whether I win or lose my court case that I will be able to move on & put this whole horrible episode behind me.

I also believe that I will learn to cope with my autism better when there isn't as much stress in my life & I will be able to prove everyone wrong & do x, y & z.

    I hope this makes sense.
