bargainbetty wrote:Sorry to say, but I am with the 'it's worth paying a bit more' squad. I have IBS, and when IBS sufferers have an attack it can last a few days. Too much info I know, but when the worst was 6 times a day for four days the thought of using anything but v.soft stuff makes me wince!
It's the one thing I truly won't compromise on!
bargain i have very mild ibs so i use the kids kandoo wipes (i know before anyone tells me they clog up the sewers, but i am hoping to switch to other balmed wipes once these are finished, they were brought on bogof) that i purchase, mum gets the loo rollsi would rather pick up the bills for these wipes than go through the pains i have when i have none around

We go through 12 rolls every 2 weeks(me and bf when he's here and 4 girls)-can't use either the really cheap stuff or the really expensive stuff as it clogs the toilet up so usually go for Andrex or Tesco brand(try and bulk buy when special offers are on)Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

ASDA smartprice loo roll is no good for wiping small children's bits it just disintigrates and you get covered! Either that or you need half a roll each time so you go through 300 rolls a week! not very money saving!
Got a bargain this week though - on the woopsy shelf in asda - asda's own brand 16 roll should have been 3.78 i think. Got them for 2 pounds cos packaging was ripped. DD2 was most embarrassed as I rejoiced about my find at the checkout!!0 -
Am i the only person who has been so skint that they've had to make do with using the local free newspaper? Even when you scrunch it up into a little ball and then open it out again, it still takes three layers of skin off.
Trust me, compared to the Sunderland Echo, Tesco's Value bogroll IS luxury0 -

Sorry GP - I mean no offence, but I have this image of you, in carpet slippers and an old towelling dressing gown, with a roll of tesco value toilet paper tucked neatly under one arm, copy of the observer under the other, waiting in the morning bathroom queue:rotfl:
My wife can't understand why I keep laughing - sorry.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
