I suppose I use Tesco value because I always have to have a shower wash anyway after using the loo before I feel really clean so theres no point buying expensive stuff. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I am a toilet roll snob I'm afraid. I've tried loads of different brands and types but now always buy quilted velvet. I just can't stand cheap sandpaper type loo rolls - sorry!!!!!Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680

What a thing to admit to Moneysavers, that your one indulgence is expensive bog roll! The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

No....? OK....0 -
Do you remember the section in Adrian Mole where Adrian mentally criticises the vicar because he has expensive toilet paper! :rotfl:0

Come on, tell me I'm in the right here - the Luxury stuff works out at 12p per 100 sheets whilst the Tesco's Value "own label" stuff works out at 4p per 100 sheets. Tried to point out the economy and common sense of it but my wife and daughter were having none of it so I've bought some for myself to prove to them that it's not such a hardship
Is there really any justification in paying THREE TIMES MORE for something that...well, we all know what it does...
The luxury stuff doesn't even feel that different! Honestly, are all you women sucked in by slick advertising / brainwashing and a bit of fancy packaging?
Going back to the original argument - who won?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I bought pink recently, because it was 6 for the the price of 4 (rolls, that is)... Not a patch on my usual honeyblush.0

The girls won of course. (Don't they always?)
I bought 4 tescos rolls for my own use, with the afterthought of "don't come crying to me when you're all out of overpriced stuff, and begging me for some of my tescos value stuff"
I suppose I should lead by example rather than by smugness0 -
