well personally the value stuff is fine IMO, i never used to get it, then purchased some for Halloween for the children to play the mummy game and we had some left, so i stuck it in the downstairs loo..its jsut as good it serves its purpose. so i buy it all the time now.

One of the little three, Aldi, Lidl, or Netto sold a recyclid loo roll called I think Samson - does anyone know which of the three it was. It was far better than the Nouvelle, which I ended up buying last time.

Ok found them again in Aldi - Saxon make.

To those who think we spend too much time 'socialising' on DFW, I thought I'd resurrect this thread to show the more serious side of us. :T :T

Sorry GP - but we definitely need to get to the 'bottom' of this 'social' argument.

hahahahah, I was just thinking about this thread mate!

Sad thing is, I still have two rolls of it left on the shelf in the computer room.

I tried using it for a while just to prove a point, but I had to quit as I was almsot at the point of needing an anal skin graft.

Now I use it to wipe the dust of my screen!

IA, a couple of pages/years back (and when you were in more debt), you got yours from Home Bargains. Now you're splashing out on Tescos???

    Ooooh, you've changed....... :D

:rotfl: Well it's £1.99 for 18 at home bargains... or £1.24 (I think) for 12 at tescos... not including the 1 clubcard point :rotfl:

We use the Home Bargains stuff - it's not too bad - not as abrasive as Smart Price. What's the Tesco stuff like? We've started doing most of our shopping there (because the nappies are fab) but haven't braved the cheap loo roll yet.
