Flitting through again - long, long INSET day, and so hot.
Highlight was lunch, when I was chatting to the newish English teacher,he mentioned being at a school where I started teaching and then said that he was there as a pupil - we worked out that I taught him English when he was in the first or second year - I didn't teach English again after that, as it was my second subject and I preferred langauges. He even remembered some of the things I taught (eg the Falklands War - looking at how it's presented in the media), and said he remembered me as being quite revolutionary and out of the ordinary!! My current MFL colleagues were quite wide-eyed...;) I did remember him - he used to bring in poetry he wrote to show me.
I have photos of DS2 and DD, I'll try to persuade DS1 to put them on.
Love and hugs to ffp, toots and lady-liberty.
Happy birthday sexymouse!

He is going for a scan as they think there is a lung and prostate problem to add to the mix. Not looking good. OH going over later to the hospital. This is turning out to be one of those days. I always find it hard on this date without more.
Not sure what to do with myself.

hi PenPen
I did my degree in Liverpool (in the 1990's - yes, it was a while ago I know!) & it was a fab place to be a student then! I know it's had lots of regeneration since then too, and whenever I go back it always makes me smile.
Been flying away here. Sitting room, hall, landing, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen all done:D:D:D Not perfectly, but it'll do :rotfl:
Tess is feeling a little better today, still a good bit quieter than normal, but she's eating, and watching the chickens again, so she's on the mend!
off to declutter some tea, and some Wimbledon coverage - haven't caught up with fred yet, so hugs to those that want/need them.
