  • Well thank you for the welcome and I really will try to post more often to keep me on the straight and tidy:rotfl:
Toots thanks I will check out those threads, I did try the grocery challenge but it all went to pot thanks to DH:mad: Will try it again. Did my online shop last night and only spent £55 for the week for 5 of us and told them all if we don't have it they either find something else or go without. I have tried to start cooking from scratch again too.
I'm going to have a long talk with DH tonight and make him listen or I will take his debit card away.

Lamewolf What is BD. Will show my DH your post about yours so he realises it's not just me.

Lady Liberty Hope you are feeling better soon. x

Pigpen Sorry but HOW MUCH:eek: How can schools get away with charging that much. I have just been moaning because DS polo shirts are £20 each. Whoever decided white polos were a good colour for 12yr old boys should be shot:mad:

Happy Birthday to sexymouse. Your cake sounds gorgeous. I didn't know you could bake with soured cream. Anyway why are you cooking a cake on your birthday shouldn't someone else be doing that.

Sorry rambled on again but thank you for the advice.

have phoned for appointment for DS prom suit.

    Today is 1 July
    Prom is 9 July...

    appointment is 4:15

talk about cutting it fine. (No change there then LOL) Now all I have to do is locate DS.

    *Pencil full of lead ringtone*

    DS found

Note to self GET DD to change ringtone...I'm thinking Stevie Winwood, or same title different song by the Zutons or Amy Winehouse;)

and for those ladies who remember me hunting for wedding dresses with my friend - she rang earlier. She and her fiance have moved into the house they bought together (near here) and she was updating me with new phone number and address (I was thinking about her this morning and planning to call her - spooky or what) but anyway, her brother and his family have cancelled their wedding acceptance (not for a good reason IMO but hey ho) she has upgraded an evening only couple to the whole day AND OFFERED ME A PLUS ONE woot woot...I just might have somebody I could take;)

Afternoon campers, I'm a bit late getting on the thread today so I've missed the bird action I'm afraid. :( I was watching the interactive Chris Evans breakfast show this morning, which came from his house and it was live. Oooh it was a goody as you could actually see who everyone was, and his little boy is so cute. And I've fallen in love with his german shepherd dog :) Then my day kind of lost momentum..lol

Anyway I have some of my mojo back, I think, and as I've just had a delicious lunch of egg mayonnaise with fresh farm eggs and freshly picked home grown sping onions mixed in with the eggs, all in a nice wholemeal sarnie :) Had fresh Kentish orange and apple juice to drink, and fresh Kentish cherries for pudding. Mmm scrummy, all ate outside at the patio table in a lovely breeze, while listening to Radio 2's Jeremy Vine. It was my little piece of heaven.. I've never enjoyed a lunch so much as I did this one today. Unfortunately I now have the housework or ironing to do.. although as I have just eaten I think it might have to be the ironing..lol Oh better get the bedding from upstairs and put in the machine as the cream wash has finished.. :)

JoJo well done to your DD, I bet you are so pleased for her :)
*H* I told DH about your son and his courgette corsage for his gf, he thought it was hilarious. But he didn't think the gf would see the funny side..maybe that's a man thinking I don't know..lol
PP that cake looks so scrummy, just wish it was real. Where do you find these pics, I drool everytime I see them..lol
Longtimelurker - aww *blush*. I just put what I was going through with "Toxic", and as the girls on here will testify it's been an ongoing saga since September of last year. And they all knew what I should've done but me being was being stubborn and hanging on to a one sided friendship. Although finally the power of the flylady girls got through to me eventually and I started seeing sense, so took the bull by the horns so to speak. The painful thing is that "Toxic" and I were friends for over 27 years now through thick and thin and we had stood by each other through all this. It's only lately that she changed, or I changed and finally noticed her faults. Now I hope she doesn't blabb any stuff to DH, as I trusted her with my innermost stuff..that could be awkward..

Oooh Sexy give Little Black Furry a cuddle from me, he is so gorgeous. Shame he decided to be aloof when we had our meet up..lol That cake sounds scrummy, you'll have to let me have the receipe so that I can make it when it cools down.
Mudders glad you survived the uniform shopping, I can imagine how that must be. Thank gods I don't have to do that at all, I'm not sure my nerves are that strong..lol
    Toots
    snuggle hugs honey xxx
Yikes Piggers that's a lot of uniform and money..
LL extra special hugs sweetie, can you send my love to Diva next time you text/talk to her.

For what it's worth, I did take Mr LW's credit card away at one point!:rotfl:
Lamewolf What is BD. Will show my DH your post about yours so he realises it's not just me.
BD = Black Dog of depression. He has a nasty habit of slinking in the back door just when folks think he's been banished; lot of us Flyladies are sadly familiar with him.

Gotta go; Mr LW's just finishing; he has a Dr appointment shortly ('s'OK, just a meds review) and I need to put some clothes on - just wearing a sarong at the mo, don't want to scare children and dogs when I go out!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Longterm

BD is the abbreviation of Black Dog, a phrase for depression used, I believe, by Winston Churchill (and no, I don't rememebr him saying it:rotfl:)

Have just eaten a piece of the cake - was very nice, but I need a cup of tea now, as it was quite rich. Longtime - I agree, someone should be cooking the cake for me, but everyone I know is at work today, and I have had eggs in the fridge for a while now, and haven't had a minute to bake, so thought I'd make a cake for me.

Natty and Valli I wish I had a bowl of cherries or strawberries- they are my favourite fruits. *wonders is they are doing pick your own strawberries at the farmshop this year* The loganberries in my garden are producing loads of fruit this year (none last year), but they seem to be very sour - not really eaten them before, is this normal? Moon has picked some of our golden raspberries and they are sweet.

Off to find a cup of tea, and put the dishwasher on, as we are going out to dinner tonight and tomorrow night (M&D taking me out tomorrow night) so won't be using the DW much.

Will whizz around the living room in a minute with the hoover, and up the stairs - with Ebony moulting so much at the moment, the stairs get dirty looking very quickly. Will give him a cuddle from you Natty.

Would anyone like to join me in a HHC 3-3.30 if you're not all on the school run?

    sexymouse xx

    ARGH!!!

I hate printers.. and I hate forms and I dislike children intensely..

I have the stand for the baby's basket and it fits so all is in happyland... couple of wraps to buy but no hurry on those.

DD1 has hung out the washing while I took the horrid beasts to physio for their shoes... we have the referral to OT going in for a step to help them in and out of the bath at least because I cannot lift them.

The new shoes for DD4 seem to fit both girls fine.. the physio said she would send them for the raise adding and order DD5's but it would be next Tuesday before she could get them there.. so I said we would drop them off and the order went in today :D.. hopefully they will both pairs be back by the 14th.. with luck!

DD1 now off to collect from school, deal with her shrubby eye brows.. and she needs to pick up her contacts but we may postpone that until the morning.. and she has to drop Jacobs new shorts at DS1's later.

I am going to pick up her steamed prom dress with my mother in a bit and drop some pics to go in the casket wih my uncles remains..

When I get back I have the new bedding to put on the bed and then DS3's induction at 6:30.. and DD2 at the junior house drama at 7.. she has told KH it is the actual play but I don't see how it can be when she has only had 2 rehearsals! So she is letting him know about that when she gets in.

Moustache.. busy things to be doing!
