Ok young lady - first things first stop apologising - we all have problems of one sort or another and nobodys is any greater or worse - they are all important/worrying/troublesome to each of us in whatever way it affects us - having a moan is good and we are all here to support each other.
Ok No.2 lack of money ....... i am guessing you have done a budget - if not you should - try Martins budget tool its great - and see where your money leakages are and see what you can do to curb it. Money problems are very worrying but you can make yourself ill and miserable over it - get some advice if you can - you can always post on the Debt free board (and read some of the threads there - they are inspiring) or if its very bad what about the Citizens advice Board - they would make sure you are claiming evrything you are entitled to. Or you could start a thread if there is a specific problem that you need help with. My only income is benefits due to my health and I know how tough things can be so do the sums and see where you stand.
Right now to No. 3 the cleaning .......... you are stressed with everything at the moment so cleaning is getting left and things get worse and you just sit and look at it and get more depressed......sounds familiar - honey a lot of us have been there - me included and believe me you can sort it out.
maybe you need a bit more structure to your routine/day. have you a dailies list (things you do everyday)? write it down in roughly the order you do it and try to get that done first thing in the morning before anything happens.
there are lots of little things that can help through the day - wash the dishes after each meal/snack so that you dont end up with a sinkful
- dont put it down put it away (always try to put away what you were using instead of putting it on the nearest flat surface)
- dirty washing goes in the dirty washing basket when taken off - not the floor
- clean washing gets put away or on the ironing pile
- use an egg timer and set it for even just 15 mins and do something until it pings
- toys get put away at bedtime (by the owner if poss)
- packed lunches are made up the night before
-clothes are laid out for the next day
- any money thats needed is sorted the night before
in between meal times and school runs try and do the 1st level of the list for that day - dont try to do everything - just take one job and do it until its finished.
what exactly is it that you feel you are not coping with?
we will get you organised if you let us:rotfl:
toots xx
Thank you. You say your not wise then you come out with a reply like that! I'm sorry but we will have to agree to disagree on that point though I suspect more people here will agree with me than you:D
I don't like moaning here, everyone is very supportive of each other but I'm new so feel a bit of an outsider:(
The money thing I have done the budget but my main leakage is DH he is used to us both earning a good wage and now I'm not he can't seem to adjust. He tries for a while then just slips back into it. He is going to have to sort himself out quick though as our savings are pretty much gone.
I have tried to get more organised but everything is so overwhelming. I keep on top of the kitchen and bathroom but thats it. I have got the kids trained to take their own pots off the table and to strip and remake their own beds as well as put their own clean washing away (Thanks to Pen Pen for inspiring me to do that)
Pigpen Suggested 15 mins working then 15 mins rest and I find it easier that way but sometimes I cant get the motivation.
This time last year we seemed to have everything good jobs, good income, happy kids who did everything they wanted and good health. Now it all seems to be crashing down around us, my health went down the drain and everything else has followed it. Grr see I'm at it again.
Toots Thank you for all the advice and trying to get me sorted, I am going to try and post here everyday to keep me going and make myself do it. I'm glad I'm not alone with it.
I was sorry to read about your friend and hope you are ok, sending you hugs.
Natty just wanted to say thank you for your inspiring post. I have a very toxic (love that description) friend who has expected me to be there through everything for her and I haven't minded at all. Now I need her she has disappeared, I haven't seen her for 4 months and she ignores all contact. Thanks to you I am going to send her to the toxic bin with your friend. I don't need her. Hope you are ok and hugs for you too.
Hope everyone else is ok and hugs to anyone else who needs them. Lady Liberty I'm glad you enjoyed Glastonbury I am very jealous.
Sorry for such a long post but wanted to make sure I said all I needed to say. Thanks for sticking with me if you got this far.

Happy birthday Sexymouse - have a fab day xxxxxx
I survived the uniform shop - infact, my children behaved amazingly (I thought DS would get bored). However, my bank account isn't so happy - £250:eek: and that was just getting one of each thing apart from the jumper which i got two of. Everything has to have the logo on - even the trousers. Oh well, I know some people have to pay more. Just need to get shoes now.
Work this morning then I'll turn my hand to some flying - i'll do my make a difference strategy again I think.
Hugs to you all xxxxx0 -

Longtermlurker please don't feel that you're an outsider. Hey, they've accepted me on here, so they're not fussy!!:D:rotfl: Seriously though, I hope you can get the ol' budget sorted out, and get DH on board to help with being frugal. Been there, done that, when Mr LW was out of work - now, as a default, if he wants to spend mega amounts of money, he runs it past me first, as I maintain the accounts spreadsheets. Chin up, mate; it will get better.
Unfortunately the damned BD seems to have sneaked back in, so trying to declutter him back out to the pound:(. Right; I have to go and sling some quiche and salad onto plates as it'll be Mr LW's lunch break in a few minutes. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
