longtermlurker you are not an outsider honey - no way -and we are certainly not fussy about who we let in - there are def some dodgy characters here:rotfl: so you are in the BEST company.
Now if you dont 'moan' then we wont know whats wrong and wont be able to help - although we are mostly women, contrary to what men think, we are not mind readers!!!!! so just you post and tell us whats bothering you and I bet once you have typed it out you will feel loads better every time.
AS for flying 15 mins at a time is great BUT you must post what you have done not what you didnt manage!!!!!! I can only manage about 15 mins so we will have to do a QHC(quarter hour challenge!!) and see how we get on!
You need to sit down and do a budget for the year if you can and then show DH how bad things are.
have you seen some of the other threads like in the Moneysaving in Marriages section or here on OS there's
    the Grocery Challenge,
    Thrifty ways for modern days,
Its tough now so how are we coping,
Lots more sneaky ways to save the pennies
maybe you are going to have to do the saving and squirrelling so that you feel in control regardless of what DH does.

Lame Wolf dont you dare let that BD in - not after that lovely holiday - he needn't think he is going to spoil things for you.

Pigpen we wont nag you to print them - we will now nag you to fill in any parts that need doing and SEND them!!:p

Have had a lovely chat with my friend Ann this morning - gardener couldnt come as it was raining - had to cancel the cleaner as the nurse was coming and now the nurse isnt coming intil tomorrow - its like musical chairs!!!!

never mind it gives me the afternoon to fly ............oops that wasnt very well planned was it:rotfl::rotfl: well maybe I can make a dent in my wee list:D

    lunch first

Well I've just used up some of the eggs in the fridge and the sour cream, by making a sour cream chocolate cake. It is cooling on the top of the oven at the moment, then I'll be filling it with nutella (got loads of jars reduced as they are use by the end of August). Yummy!

Have cleaned down all of the sides in the kitchen, and filled the DW up, so you wouldn't know I'd been baking, which is good. Just seen what the time is, so think I'll go and get some of the leftover pizza from the fridge for lunch.

Have had lots of cuddles with Little Black Furry today - think he's pleased to have me home. I caught the end of the Bionic Vet on tv last night, and saw the gorgeous cat Oscar who had 2 new feet made for him after he lost his in an accident. He looked so much like Ebony. I guess we were lucky that Ebony only lost 1 leg and not 2, as I think Oscar's owner paid about £4000 for his operation.

Well I'm off to raid the fridge.

Sexy~~ Have a wonderful Birthday xxx

Been to London to drop off some stuff for a customer, and met the 'guard dog' a very large black GS, with a muzzle on, who was a soppy as hell, the muzzle is there to stop delivery drivers feeding him their left over sandwiches, rahter than to stop the dog from biting humans!!

Glad you all missed me... Hex was right - I was away for work. Had an extra night away as we didn't finish till very late and I was too exhausted to get the train to the office and then have an hour's drive home.

Will catch up later, but wanted to say Happy Birthday to sexymouse...
