WM on and another load out on the line. More finish put on walls and my bucket of water is ready for the boarder. So i'll get that off tonight and all being well i should be able to paint tomorrow, 2 coats should do it.

Right boarder time.....best wake hubby up and send him to the shop.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

LameWolf did I say welcome back ....cant remember - welcome back anyway - glad you had a good time - when is you next furry coming?
Thank you.:o Re the next canine guest - that's a bit up in the air. I was supposed to have Molly (Mr LW's pal A's dog) from 23rd Jul to 8th Aug... BUT.... A has split from wife K and moved out into rented accommodation. K says she can't cope with Molly because she works long hours and their DS1 and DS2 are not helping with Molly/generally pulling their weight (ages 13 and 11). A would happily take Molly but landlord isn't too keen. So if worst comes to worst, Molly will go to K's brother (whom she knows anyway, as he's taken her and their DS2 out to shoots on many occasions). So we wait and see on that one.:(

Other than that, with the dog-sitting franchise, I have a Cavalier King Charles, Penny, from 8th to 17th Aug, and then Pip & Pandora returning 20th to 23rd Aug.:o

Morries shop done and put away; 40 mins gardening done out the front - I'm informed I now owe Mr LW a beer!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

LW what a shame about Molly - I hope you will still get the chance to see her- maybe once A gets a better place he will be able to keep her with him - but great news about the official guests and how nice to have P & P coming back again
good luck grateful - i will listen for the fall out!!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

  • Does anyone know how to do a raindance?

I need to finish an assignment for electronic submission at noon tomorrow and I'm so hot, I can't think straight.

DD2 is in a dance competition tomorrow night (clever me booked the ticket last night, so don't have to worry about getting in to watch), I have a bass lesson Thursday, there is a senior school open evening on Thursday pm, her trial day at high school on Friday (for which I have no idea how I am going to get up a 1 in 4 hill a good mile from the bus stop with no access to transport and a boogered ankle, never mind the heat, twice in one day - and parental attendance on both days is apparently compulsory). Will be interesting to explain that I am refusing to sign the home school agreement because their insistence on my agreeing to come to the school whenever required by the staff is in contravention of the DDA when there is no means for disabled people to access the premises (unmade road leads to entrance and the open evening car parking spaces - if I had access to a vehicle - are in an unlit, completely uneven field with no ramps to get down a 4 foot drop, only uneven stairs) plus my driving lesson was postponed because the instructor has to attend his Nan's funeral. So I have to dash back from DD2's new school to be back in time for pickup and get back there (because it's not the poor guy's fault he has to change days). And he'll probably tell me all about the family arguments that are going on about it, too, because I'm the only person over 17 that he teaches at the moment, so can sustain a conversation about such things whilst not crashing into bollards or getting bored!

And I am being plagued by bl00dy exes at the moment. Like $(@!(£$* mosquitoes. But DDT won't work on these so and sos.

    PLEASE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
