I've been busy washing all my hard floors. I put the dining room rug out in the garden to wash underneath it and DD1 threw a cup or 4 of water out of her bedroom window..... one very wet rug.

I've also done HHG watering all the tubs and hanging baskets and trimming the shrub in the front that is all over the weelie bins. I only trimmed it back 3 weeks ago. It's growing like wildfire in these hot sunny conditions.

DH called he is going to be away an extra night so won't be back until Thursday now. I'm getting worried about holiday money as he does all that and it's leaving it a bit late to sort it out on Friday.

DD1's boyfriend is coming to dinner on Thursday - what to cook??? Any suggestions welcomed. DD1 has requested spag bol but we have meatballs in bolognaise sauce tonight so don't want a repeat 2 days later.

DW unloaded and reloaded. Washed DD2 and DS3's bedding. Need to put it on the line now and launch an assult on the ironing mountain.

My bank offered to refund half of the bank charges from last month - a nice gesture, as they didn't have to do that. :T
Glad you got some good news, it sounds a bit like hard work at your house this week. Hope you get your tooth sorted.

Have made tea, eaten lunch, just going to load BM and DW, then off to town to do errands and round to friends for coffee.

    See you later/tomorrow.

it was raining about 2am.. by the time I got up for the 97th time at 7 it was all dried up and that evil shiny orb was plaguing me again..

The same here and I was so hoping it would be cooler today - no such luck

I have a dodgy tummy today so that had me up several times last night, I had to close the window a little as the rain was coming in.. and managed to bang my little toe so that was bleeding and is incredibly sore this morning.. my shoes hurt!

    Ouch hope you are okay

I need to decide whether or not to go to Ikea tomorrow for the boys chests of drawers.. I will be ok getting there but the walking round is what worries me.. a

Am guessing that you can't order them to be delivered to you - is there any chance your OH would fetch them for you

LR has just had the best clean ever! Everywhere has been dusted and the top of everywhere decluttered and only replaced with what should be there. Just the bookcase to do, will have lunch first though. I may be exhausted but the tidying stuff and dusting is still pretty manageable so that is what I am concentrating on.

Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
