a) Don't live in a bankrupt country or one in debt.

Doesn't mean i am.....in fact, i do incredibly well. I have just under a 6 figure salary, which on your island, only a handful of people could even dream of.

b) Pay less than a third of the tax you do.

Probably, but i am a higher rate tax payer. Does this matter to me....nope, as you no doubt earn far more than 30% less than i do.

c) Have an employment situation where there are more jobs than applicants, with the average wage being above the UK.

Because nobody that is born and bred there would want to go and live/work there. This effects me not one jot.

d) Have very little crime, people can walk safe at nights, especially women and burglary is virtually unknown.

I live in a very affluent area where i do not get these problems either.

So please continue, I shall sit back here and laugh at your plight.

My plight being none of the things you have mentioned?

If theres even a SHRED of truth from the texts going around about some of the bigger named players in the england team and their recent off pitch 'antics' I CAN GUARANTEE it will NOT be forgotten about in a week (when the gagging order is lifted)

I think you will discover woody's rants were aimed at another member on the forum, you will also find this thread is just a tad out of date AND the football is well and truly forgotten about, theres far more important issues to be discussed other than some oblong field with a round muddy object bouncing around it.

Sorry to disappoint you, but you should really learn to read ALL the thread before so embarrassingly jumping to the wrong conclusions.

that this country is rubbish at football the reason why is simple THEY

ALL GET PAID TOO MUCH MONEY ! simple as that why slog your nuts

off for a game when your gonna get paid MEGA bucks if you do well or

not ? come on be honest who would seriously slog themselves to

death if they was getting the same money for a good result or bad ?

(very very few ) simple answer is pay these clowns on performance

( say £3000) for each goal they scored ) you would see a real
